We have poundland here but never seen a 99p store - same concept really I guess.

99p stores even sell stuff cheaper than 99p, ie 74p, so more of a bargain than poundland.

but as always you have to watch for the tat. or stuff that can be bought much cheaper elsewhere.

tell him to switch his phone off, take the battery out, leave it for 10 minutes, put it back in and switch it on again. If that doesn't work, tell him to do a software upgrade on his phone. but to back everything up before he does that!

Great tip Aesop - never thought of that. I would have done it to my phone if I was having a problem, but never thought of suggesting it to him doh :o

True, sometimes you get carried away at 99p/£1 'bargains' which you don't need, are rubbish, or you could buy cheaper elsewhere  I think our 99p store had Mug Shots (add water pasta/noodle things) for 2 for £1 which I thought was good, but they are only 33p each at Home Bargains up here ;)

Thanks again as that sounds very good Froogs - will check that one later too :T :T :T
Just to let you know that on quidco they have free 30 page photobooks and 50p cashback when you join.

    http://www.quidco.com/photobox/

I have just joined and got £13.99 worth of photobook for my mother in law for Christmas all for the price of p&p. V. happy and 1 prezzy down :)

I did the Lidl one, only 26 photos but had a hard time choosing them! and got fed up too of trying to sort them out. Lidl was completely free, no p&p, with a code :D

I did this for my inlaws too.

Ps my home insurance is coming up for renewal next week £350!!! I think it is v expensive for one person's home - it is only a little place. Does anyone know where i can do comparisons to get a good deal?

    have you tried Swinton insurance?

    http://www.swinton.co.uk/home/

they do cashback too, my friend found they were much cheaper for her. And cashback direct from them, not waiting for quidco to receive it and then pay you out.

also make sure you are giving the right information and not overvaluing or undervaluing your house.

I am too scared to do insurance yet. I will look on friday.

Froogs this is Groupon i have used it twice - i booked facials/pampering sessions for my friends for her birthday presents. I would never use it for me. Too hedonistic. http://news.groupon.co.uk/c/mv
