Sounds a really expensive to run system Froogs so I can see how your costs are adding up. My neice up here has the same problem, with her two girls needing a bath every night, her bills were running higher and higher, so she rarely uses her heating and the girls only have a bath every other day and make sure that they have a proper shower when they go to their swimming classes ;) The thing is, they do have a shower over the bath but only her hubbie uses it oh, and me when I stay there but they have a corner bath and no shower curtain. I use the shower by wetting myself down holding the shower head up to my body, lathering up, and then rinsing the same way. It is actually quicker than a normal shower and very effective. She is going to try letting them shower, but they are so used to the bath, but, at almost 6 and almost 10, I said it might make them feel more grown up - worth a try ;);) gotta be sneaky about it :D

Hello well done on being frugal froogs. Hi Susan.

I didn't go to work. I have been panicking about the meet I just curled up in bed and couldn't do anything after i sorted bank things. I am still in pjs and am taking the day off. I feel better but not up to doing any work. I will try tomorrow. I might be able to make the weekend meet. I feel better now.

  • Who is it that you're meeting savingwannabe?

Sorting out bank things, especially online can take it out of you when you're feeling fresh as a daisy, when you're down and a bit worrisome then, well it's bound to take it out of you.

It's just periods of time saingwannabe, some periods are joyous and stress free and some periods are hard to cope with.

The only thing you have to think about is not to force yourself to do something you don't want to do. You get better by making sure you're content and happy. What you want is the most important thing.

I dont want to be a bother. You can ring Susan but poor Steve has been great. I just dont think i will finish my work. I keep trying but i am not getting far my brain is just shutting down but i am fine on here. I think it is because i am rushing it for the meet on Saturday. My headache is back and my legs hurt. I think it is psychological. I will try again tomorrow. I haven't even had a shower today. euwww. I keep sleeping which i think is good.

  • eeeh what is groupon? I'll have to have a look into that.

We have poundland here but never seen a 99p store - same concept really I guess. The undercover boss series had the boss from one of the pound stores in the shops last week.

I have to say that when I was growing up that I was a bit of a snob. I would never go in poundstretcher as a teenager incase my mates saw me. Now I don't give a monkeys.

Groupon is a group buying scheme where they buy in bulk and offer for a short time at a discount only if a certain number is reached. Had some good deals from them, and the other such sights like KGB, National Deals, etc

We have 99p and Poundland at home but no Home Bargains or M&B, but up here on North Tyneside where I am at moment, they have Home Bargains and HB but nearest 99p store is Hartlepool or Darlington - bit far to go, even for their bargains

Having a big problem with texts to my brother, I get his, but he doesn't get any of mine, even when I do 'reply' - have deleted and put his number in again, but don't know what else to do, but it is a nuisance

tell him to switch his phone off, take the battery out, leave it for 10 minutes, put it back in and switch it on again. If that doesn't work, tell him to do a software upgrade on his phone. but to back everything up before he does that!
