Well, I did get that long lie-in - Mr 3Dogs brought me my breakfast at 11.30 am and I got up just before 12 noon

Very very windy here today, cloudy but dry so far

helloooo my parents left this morning. Dad and mum loved Steve and Andy. Dad didn't want them to leave. He missed them all last night as they were so funny. At one stage Steve proposed to my mum and we all had such a scream!!! Dad thinks they are very funny fellows and they made him laugh sooo much. He knows i am safe now so he wont worry any more.
I am having a lazy day but am decluttering the garage later. Am dying for an ice cream so might nip out in a bit!!!Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I don't live in Tottenham guys. So don't worry about me.
I have been there, my cousins used to live there. Even many years ago, you could see the poverty in the area, and it wasn't the most salubrious of places to visit.
I feel sorry for the shop owners, the people who's home got burnt, etc.
It is very sad what happened, who was to blame... well I will wait and see, a lot of accusations flying around at the moment.0 -
So glad you are ok. I remember when the riots happened when i was growing up. We went to the posh school and everyone thought it was going to be targeted. We were evacuated home from school. We had a special meeting and we had to go to rooms based on our postcode and every room had a plan to get people home!!!
I dont agree with rioting. I feel desperately sorry for all the people who have lost homes and now maybe jobs as any firm with sense will move out of those areas.
I have just watched Housewives of Orange County. I know it is a bit chav but i totally love it. I am now tidying garage for freezer.
I love summer holidays. I dont want it to end. Sun is shining what more can i ask for?
Well maybe Steve could do my ironing!!!!
Dad is still laughing at the fun time he had.:D:D:DAiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Hello i just read something on Bob's thread - where is Mackamland? Anyone know?
OMG i am watching the riots on the tv. Tidying garage for freezer took 5 mins and i treated myself to an ice cream - i am going to be the size of a house. I promise i am going to jump on the trampoline soon. I bought 5 sacks of wooden hangers, dresses and old make up to spare bedroom. I will unpack this week sometime and it wont take long. If it is brand new and fits i will keep it, if it is old it is going to charity or being binned. I have no wardrobe in spare bedroom yet so storage is difficult.
Am sorting out a file tonight. 3.5 weeks and i go back to work.:eek:
Seriously if anyone knows any bankrobbers that would like to hire a YTS (am old but I look angelic and noone would ever suspect me) pm me.:oAiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Just been watching C4 news. EEEK i think all the bankrobbers are in London right now. It might be better not to communicate with them at all. I think i would rather be poor and be able to sleep at night than a crim without a cause.
I think the C4 news coverage has been superb but i wonder how much they are actually discovering of what is really going on. Krishnan Guru Murphy's tie is gross though. I do wish he would change it.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Oh dear Kit, Mr 3Dogs will not be pleased with you  I thought he would have taught you all about Mackems - they come from Sunderland or, latterly, support Sunderland Football Club - the name comes from the rivalry between the Tyne and the Wear shipyards oiriginally - Sunderland mack 'em (make them) and Newcastle take 'em (take them)
