Arh, what a lovely puddy cat Marru - look full of character too

I went to a residents/families meeting at the home yesterday, where the new Manager introduced herself, and I asked about that other sort of bed for Mam, the sort that lifts at the knee as well as the head so she can't slide down the bed and tangle her feet in the bed frame, and, to cut a long story short, she was in another room tucked up in that sort of bed within the hour :j :j The room is across the corridor, one room up from were she was, and she overlooks the River Tyne and Royal Quays Marina - the room is identical except for being a mirror image which makes things a bit confusing
she was mainly ok about it but panicked when me and my Sis left last night shouting 'But what am I going to do now!!' but she calmed a bit. We were worried how she would settle but my neice has been down at dinner time and said her Gran was fine and happy when she got there, she ate her lunch fine, and was falling asleep when she left. I am going down myself tonight as we have given my big Sis the day off
SW is having time off Marru
Hope everyone is well

Good Morning

Hope everyone is well

Mam was good last night - comfortable and happy - the change of room doesn't seem to have upset her and in fact seems to agree with her, though only time will tell. I am off very soon to see her for lunch time so will see how she is today
I actually just watched TV last night mostly and enjoyed it - NCIS/CSI I love 'em:j

Hiya everyone - sorry I've not been online but I've been sickly - didn't even open the laptop yesterday
I started to feel 'off' tea time Friday and was very ill by time I went to bed - head spinning, foot swollena nd very saw, nauseous, completely yucky and cried myself to sleep
Next morning I got up feeling dizzy and sickly but went downstairs and made my cereal/yoghurt and fruit but couldn't face it, so just sat watching tv with head spinning. I managed to eat it about half an hour later, sat for another 15 minutes, then went upstairs to put some dry washing away. Mr 3Dogs rang and after I spoke to him I had to rush to the loo to be sick, then I went back to bed for a couple of hours
I got back up at 3 pm but, although I felt a little better, I still felt very rough, but I had to visit Mam for 4.30 pm for her dinner  I didn't think it was a virus, more something I'd eaten, so felt it was ok to visit her, which I just about managed, then had to pick my brother up from the station. when we got home, I chatted to him for an hour or so with my head spinning and then went to bed at 8.30 pm ........... and slept till 1 pm today, other than waking to speak to Mr3Dogs when he rang to check on me
I've just had my cereal and, although I feel better, my head is not quite my own, if you know what I mean, and I only ate my breakfast to take my tablets, as I have no appetite. will just pootly about till I have to go down to see Mam at tea-time and take it as it comes
I think it was the cooked chicken I bought on my way back on Friday which I had for my tea and some a bit later - it was reduced half price and perhaps it had been sitting too long in the heat on the display or hot cooked properly, or something. It tasted alright, but that is all I can think that could have caused it, other than taking the full wack of my tramadol for my badly blistered and swollen foot
Mam has been ok though she has had some of her shouting sessions when she tells staff off and tells them to go away, but mainly she has been sleepy. When I got down there last night, she was cradling her polar bear like a baby and patting it's bum. When she saw me, she was fine, and she ate all her food but then was getting sleepy again when I left
Hope everyone is OK
