well done! love the pic too.

I have just found a bank statement thanks to the help of nationwide that shows I paid TV Licence £6, which they did not allocate to my count, sitting in the ether, so can claim that back from them :j and then put it towards my tv licence!

Well done to both of you. Susan for sorting out WTC (she is fab at all things adminny) and also to Aesop for finding your statement. Things are on the up.

This is normal for diabetics! The one's that say it is ok all of the time are not telling the whole truth. I have seen it too many times over the last 40 years. I went out with a guy for a while who lectured on diabetes and how stable his was. He was hypo most of the time and lied so he didn't lose his licence. Completely unethical and doctors actually believed him and he was held up as a model for us all to aspire too. Boll****.

There are good days and bad days. This is just one of the bad days. No biggie. It's not like i have something untreatable. Have to count my blessings.:D:D

I went to the P**ndshop and bought some cashews and pistachio nuts. Also bought some Colgate Sensitive Whitening toothpaste for £1 instead of my expensive one. It was less than half the B**ts price.

    YAY!

Marru i can't have a low carb diet. I have a high carb one. Lots of potatoes and bread that is the only thing that works. I had hypos as i am trying to cut out sweets and things and not snacking between meals. Actually i dont know why. Too tired to think it through. Am definitely reducing my insulin levels tonight. Wish it would sort itself out.

Have you tried? I have been reading a lot recently about carbohydrates and insulin and other things nutritional and it seems like something to try if you have trouble with blood sugar.

Exam on Thursday - running seriously out of time. And very tired tonight. Hoping that after I have put DD to bed (late tonight as it was swimming) after half an hour relax I would be able to carry on studying.

Boo on the van - YAY for the WTC

Worried Jim has a low carb diet. It sounds like rabbit food. Since i was 4 i have been told carbs are needed to keep us going. I dont know how fruit and lettuce will sustain me it will make hypos worse i am sure.

Good luck for the revision for the exam. Poor flower I will pray for you too.

You need good quality fats to keep you going. Avocado, nuts, olive oil, are you able to eat any cheeses?

I feel too pooped to study. :( Must put DD to bed and see how it goes.

Yep. Ate nuts today. Cook with Olive Oil (which negates it!!!). I do eat rubbish eg crisps and chocolates which do not help. Am dairy intolerant. Occasionally (twice a year) i have goats cheese. I have soya yoghurt in the fridge that is dairy but not very good as all E numbers.

Anyway enough about me. Marru sweetie, please rest. Have a look at what i put on your thread.

I have, thank you. You are wonderful!!! Logging off now. Going to check what is on telly and do some cross stitch. Can't wait to be able to start doing the wolves but need to finish few smaller projects first:
