yes day off, 11am and only 2 loads of washing achieved!0

At least you've done 2 loads of washing Aesop, I've just put mine in

to the hypos Kit - hope you are resting despite noise from the builders and you manage to do a little work this afternoon if you can
I have to ring WTC this afternoon to query start date as they seem to have only paid from 13th May and not when Mr 3Dogs started self-employment on 7th March, which means, I presume, they won't have included the amount for starting work direct from long term incapacity benefit
Then got to do some shopping as I am out of yoghurts   and fruit   before going to visit Mam with my sister at 4 pm

Just woke up. I was supposed to go out for a meal with wonderful old work colleagues but i am shattered. No chance i can cope with a late night, plus i will feel guilty as Porge is so ill. So i am going to cancel.
Dont worry girls i haven't done any housework. Too knackered.
Marru i can't have a low carb diet. I have a high carb one. Lots of potatoes and bread that is the only thing that works. I had hypos as i am trying to cut out sweets and things and not snacking between meals. Actually i dont know why. Too tired to think it through. Am definitely reducing my insulin levels tonight. Wish it would sort itself out.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

SW, why are you feeling guilty about going out? I understand that you are not feeling well, that is a good enough reason to not go out. But no reason to feel guilty because George has been ill. He is recovering now, just needs to take it easy, if he can.
About your diet, why don't you get a diet sheet from your Diabetic Nurse? That will help you and when you are not feeling well like now, you don't need to think.

George being ill is one of the reasons. I can't enjoy myself when one of my friends is so ill.
But it is my sugars. They are ok now but i am too shattered to do v much.
Meals out for me are usually difficult, v hard to calculate carbs in food, puddings are too sweet etc and a late night is too much. That is the main reason.
I have been doing the diet sheet thing for ages. Years. Pants. Hasn't helped me. All they say is".. it is stress and quit your job..." as they can't always spot explanations. . Err yes. And where will I live?Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Kit, have a nice jacket potato with baked beans then rest again - a quick meal if you do it in microwave - take care hun and don't worry too much about George

GOOD NEWS - rang the WTC people and, after a very long wait hanging-on the phone, I was told they could not talk to me about the claim as I had failed security remember, way back on the day Mr 3Dogs had his latest cancer check up, I was supposed to go to Kings Lynn and show my ID to pass security for the claim, but I forgot to take the documents with me, so Mr 3Dogs rang and made the claim, and he sailed through security questions? Well only he can ring about the claim until I arrange to take my ID in, which they will arrange for when I get home
I asked if they could answer a general question, which she said was no problem, so I asked about the start date of the claim which she confirmed was the date the form was received, but that claim could be backdated if requested. so all Mr 3Dogs has to do is to ring them this afternoon and ask for the claim to be backdated to 7th March when he went self-employed and they will send a memo over to payments section to calculate amount and pay it into our bank :j :j so I have talked Mr 3Dogs through what he had to do and say remember he hates doing this sort of thing and he is going to do it this afternoon - so we should soon receive a BACS payment for the 10 weeks back-dated WTC - which will come in handy for the van repairs plus give Mr 3Dogs some working capital for auctions Yippee :j :j

but he is on the mend huni. He just needs to rest when he can. Same as you.

why not tell your friends that meals out are too difficult for you to calculate to help your diabetes? And suggest a night out at your house or theirs, and you can bring your own food, or make food at your place. Hear you are a pretty good cook

LOL ... yep, stress, quit your job, you aren't entitled to help, get told to find a job.. yep, never ending circle.
If diet sheet is not working, have you tried researching diabetes forrums for a better diet sheet? From people who have same diabetes as you, and maybe they have diet sheets or made up their own that will help?0
