Over a week ago I ordered Title Register and Title Plan documents trusting that they would be sent within the hour. When they did not arrive I assumed, as it was a Saturday, then they would be sent first thing Monday. After waiting a week, still nothing has come through. Yesterday I sent emails to order enquiries and customer service but to no avail.
Upon further investigation I see now that I've been we'll and truly scammed. On the website they claim to give full telephone support, strange when you consider that the website has no telephone number shown anywhere, and where it should, they've spelt telephone 'telefone', alarm bells did indeed ring, if only I'd seen that before I'd placed the order. Also, the more I look, although initially convincing ,the site now looks woefully amateurish.
I am going to send another email to try and request a refund, however, I don't hold out much hope. How does one bring scammers like these to justice and get them closed down?
The site is still live, and they must be doing well because they've put their charges up from £14.95 to £15.95 per document. So that's £31.90 down the swanny river!!
Well, a year on I just fell into the same trap - bought a title plan for £19.95 from LandRegistryOnline.net They promised to deliver it "shortly". After it did not arrive within an hour, I realised that in fact I had not paid the Land Registry. So yes, there are still fools out there...
The new element is that the payment is now via PayPal. Reputable companies like Bristish Airways allow to pay with PayPal, so nothing suspicious here. Well, I opened a dispute and what probably will happen is the scammers will buy the document from the real Land Registry for £3 (as I just found out) in the next day or two, email it to me and shut me up. Goods delivered! Can you blame them. And the law is on their side.0 -

Don't you think it would have been simpler to cancel as per the instructions on their website - you're more likely to get a refund if you do that.0 -

Although the warnings welcome you should of started a new thread of your own and not resurrected a year old one. Oh and just don't use the site, emailing them penis pictures will probably just get you bombarded with spam.0
