I've flown with Emirates 6 times from BHX to dubai. Everytime they've been superb. 34 inch legroom is as good as you'll see. I'm 6'2 and have no issues.
Emirates are up there with Air NZ with my favourite airlines
Are you sure?
Emirates only offer a 2 class service from BHX. The aircraft is sometimes substituted with a 3 class one for operational reasons, but not very often. I'd be surprised if you had 6 out of 6 like this.0 -

The Emirates.com website will tell you the precise aircraft model you'll be flying on. Then it pays to note whether all three classes (first, business, economy or just business and economy) are available. That'll help you choose the right Boeing 777 on Seat Guru. There are several sub-fleets of the four different 777 models. Their respective economy class seat pitches are:
Boeing 777-200 2-Class (772) 34.0"
Boeing 777-200 3-Class (772) 33.0"
Boeing 777-200LR 3-Class (772) 33.0"
Boeing 777-300 2-Class (773) 34.0"
Boeing 777-300 3-Class (773) 34.0"
Boeing 777-300ER 2-Class (773) 31.0"
Boeing 777-300ER 3-Class (773) 34.0"0 -

I'm not sure why you quoted me there. I was questioning the post above, not trying to spell out all the aircraft specs. I'm sure you know that seatguru is often wrong as well.
To the OP. Do as the above poster has said to identify the aircraft you will be on and let us know. There's not much difference between seats in Economy but you might get some pointers. If you're really keen to get an exit row, for example, the only way to do it with Emirates is to be first at the check-in desk. Even then, this'll only work for the first leg.0 -
hi, we were told we can chose our seats as soon as we booked, the reason i havent chose them yet is because i have mixed the days up.We wanted three nights in Dubai and have only made the provision with the flights for two.It looks like we will be charged money to change our dates :-(0

You're right that you can chose your seats as soon as you have booked, however the "good" ones ie at an emergency exit can't be chosen at this time. They are only allocated at the airport. There is not much to choose between the rest although doing it as early as possible should ensure you get window/aisle etc. If there are two of you travelling then there are a few pairs of seats towards the rear of the B777s that you might prefer - no one to disturb you if they want out or vice versa.
Are all your flights on B777s?
You should pick your seats now anyway - you can always change them on-line if you want right up to when you check in (no cost).0 -

While a bummer, in my experience Emirates change fee is pretty reasonable. Unless it's changed since early 2010, it'll be a flat £75 to change departure dates, with no difference in fare. I don't know how it compares to the competition, but when I had to adjust a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Dubai and back to the UK, I wasn't expecting it to be a flat fee, and certainly not less than £100.I'm not sure why you quoted me there. Apologies, no correction on was intended - just wanted to expand on your useful point. :beer:0 -
