My last free wedding tomorrow, I'm actually really looking forward to it. She has 9 bridesmaids! Unf the venue got closed down so she is just having an evening house party but they are going up to a restaurant to eat so I will pop in their and take a few pictures before hand of speeches etc...

I'm hoping she doesn't assume that I'd be going to the house party as originally I said I'd drop in the venue just for an hour or so but now they are having a house party it's not the same for me photography wise.

I think the nerves are starting to wear off now and I've took a on line wedding course by a world class photographer and whilst I've learned loads the things he is teaching are a bit to much for the type of weddings I am doing but I've picked up loads and he's got a spark out of me as I can see so many possibilities of where to take my business...I've only watched about 5 of the 25 videos ! (Tbf I'm skipping to the posing videos as I have the wedding tomorrow)

I've took a booking for £200 (May of mentioned this?) for August next year! Feel like this is a huge step as it's what I need to be charging really even for simple wedding photography, I'm not taking bookings for less then that now other then Oct (Stupid wedding gap as I have Nov and Dec bookings) but still no enquiries for that month.

She is paying any day in full (offered a discount if they pay in full as I need so much in equipment I'd rather get money in and get better faster) which I have an overall good feeling about her so I've no doubts she will.

First the bad news - Ive put 2 lbs back on - due to painters colic and just grabbing carb laden snacks to fend off the nausea. Worse than being pregnant. :rotfl:

The good news - decorating is done and it looks gorjuss!!!

Just need to give the kitchen a blitz and then we're back in business, I'm all stocked up with healthy foods and we are good to go. DS2 is going to set up my new cross trainer and the Wii so I can get exercising properly.

9 weeks until my holiday and am aiming to shift a stone....Tight but I think I can do it if I really try.

well I knew all along that August and September were going to be expensive. So I'm just going to have to grin and bear it and dream up some extra ways to both make and save a few shekels.

I keep looking at places in Cornwall on Right Move but dont want to leave the boys.....

I really miss our place in Spain sometimes but I just knew I wouldn't want to,live there without My husband so I let it go.

Tbh I really dont know what the future holds for me which is why I have shelved all house buying decisions until the new year, after my holiday.

I think I just need to clear my head and have some thinking time.

I did wonder about trying a long stay winter break somewhere, say Spain, Malta or Italy. Then if I found somewhere I really liked I could just rent somewhere for a couple of months each winter. I would only need a small apartment. There seems to be plenty around.

Something to mull over.

I've had a bit of a nothing week this week. I've been able to carry on working with clients, but I tried to exercise on Bank Holiday Monday, and it was too much too soon, I've relapsed into the way I was in spring. Don't think I'm going to go back any further than that, but I'm taking anti-cold meds etc.

LL have you got your cross trainer set up yet? My foot it still not good so not got back to my exercise regime yet.
