Well not been on for a while but loads more really great posts and new people, It's so refreshing to hear how enthusiastic and driven everyone on this thread is. I will definetly give the above book a read that was recommended. I'm still progressing with my plans and I am still on target for 20k by the end of May 2012. Best of luck everyone! :)

    Hi all :)
I would like to join in please - I have absolutely no idea how to set goals but want to learn :) Love the sound of 'The Master Key' thank you live4free - I love training manual type books :)
I have decided to re-join a party plan company I used to be involved with - love the products, like the safety umbrella of it and basically would like to become financially free :)
Am I able to become a millionaire? Not sure - which is a little negative I know, probably because it sounds so big so little steps for me although I know the big picture is the key along with consistency and effort.
Looking forward to keeping up with the thread :)

Well everyone at my work is officially off on 3 weeks holiday...last day yesterday but alot didnt even turn up! I was in the whole day though, joys of new price work, im keen! Me and the other guy i work with are working next week aswel on top of holiday pay so lots of £££ for that! Need as much as i can get, pay off couple of cards and overdraft then hand car back, that will see me more than £500 a month richer and an extra £5k+ onto my net worth as the car is a burden!

Van has mot and tax out in September...might look to sell now and get a smaller one..will have to wait and see what happens! Small changes here and there mean im getting closer to my goal already.

I had 4 packages arrive today..all with new work clothes! So will be trying it all out next week. A little treat for doing well but a worthwhile treat!!

Even after next week i wont really have 2 weeks off as got a couple of cash in hand jobs to do..should hopefully bring in an extra £2-3k.

Anyway slow day today...not working...hopefully tonight is a bit better!

    Hi there slkh :)
I didn't pursue my idea no, however I am cleaning for a neighbour once a week :) I've also got a job interview in a local special needs school and have re-activated with a party plan company I loved being involved with a couple of years ago so all good :)
How are you doing? Hope everything is going well for you x

    Hi all,

Ive had a few weeks away from 'millionaire challenge' and just allowed myself to spend money if I want to. Its not all bad news and I feel refreshed and ready to start again.

My accountant has done my tax return, my tax credits have been picked for assessment and all paperwork sent in :-( and declaration done

I have almost paid off my 'interest free' payment that will start to accrue interest as of 15th Aug so that will save me around £200 in interest.

Ive got around £20000 of debt now (not including mortgage) which is far lower than I had and im able to have a little breathign space where money is concerned.

ive finally got my bank to agree to close a joint account that is dormant as my ex partner wouldnt sign to close it and now I have no contact with him. That has been a huge bugbear as they wouldnt even change my address so a stranger is getting all my bank statements!!!!!!! Also ive paid off the £500 0verdraft that I had left at -500 incase the ex tried to clear it(not that i thought he would but not worth the risk)

Ive paid around £500 towards vouchers to pay for xmas so thats xmas sorted for us as we dont go ott.We literally get 1 big item each for the kids then soend about £20 on cheap bits like crayons etc. Foodwise we also dont stock pile like many and tend to go to tesco/asda at 3am a few days before they close....its dead so no queues and lots of woopsies :)

I have treated myself to a gym membership but decided to pay a higher monthly fee for a shorter time (99 for 3 months) then im not paying and not going as 3 months will be enough for me to tone up enough, then 3 months splurging out....then 3 months getting toned hehe
