Don't worry no offence taken - I know you meant no disrespect. And yes it is draining - in fact it's the hardest thing I've done in my life.

Making money and rebuilding our finances will be a doddle by comparison.:D

Meant to say - bad news about the bills wiping out your savings etc but hey we are about to put all the money worries behind us, that's why we are doing this. Keep your chin up.

Hi Guys, im new to this thread.
I would love to have 1 Million at anytime in my life.

I have £6500 in savings and have a car worth just over £3500 so my net worth is 10K i guess.
Started working at the age of 14 as a kitchen porter earning £3.50 a hour.
At 16 i joined a different job and started earning 7k a year and then upto 9k a year at 17.

Im now 18 and from August i shoot upto £23550 a year and it rises 1k a year and i should get regular overtime.

Cant wait, my target for 2011 is to reach 8K so i should really smash it.

Paying into Santander First Home Saver monthly
    Halifax ISA - Emergency Fund

    Thanks

Welcome to the thread! It sounds like you have got off to a very good start, and such a young age too! I only wish I had started saving at your age and I would be well on my way to that million already but on my way now so that's all that matter's really. Do you have any long term plans as to how you want to invest your money? Keep us all posted :)

Yep this is a massive step to get me going, really feel like il be paid my worth now! I have something to work for and keep my head down and not carry on at work. Il be going to work, to work. Not just to turn up and fill in my day and get paid for it. I now have potential to go and make my money, hopefully crack that £42k at 20....amazing opportunities for me now!!!

    Hey everyone!

I've been reading this thread over the last few days and i've found it very inspirational. Ever since I can remember i've always said, "One day, one day i'm going to be a millionaire." So I guess now is as good a time as any to start walking the walk ;) So count me in! I'll have a gander at my situation over the weekend and choose some short and long term goals to get me on my way.

There's been some brilliant posts so far on here, very impressive! I love that there's some younger and older generations up for the challenge. Thank you tinktay84 for posting this thread!

I guess i'll catch up with you guys later!
