  • You can't achieve if you don't try... Good luck!

You can see from my signature I've set myself a couple goals to get started with I know 0.05% looks like nothing but I'm only a few weeks in but when I come out the other side (aim is to finish uni before I'm 30... I'm 24 now ) I'll be in a position, hopefully, that I'll be able to earn a decent wage and join you on the millionaire challenge then ;)
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....
  • Thanks for congras guys :-)

Had a productive morning! We've baby proofed our front room (DS1 is 13months) and blocked off a small part of it where I can have DS2 in his moses basket..and I've put my desk in here :-)

So I've got no excuse now for not studying as DS1 will potter about in the main part playing and DS2 (he is atm anyway lol) will sleep soundly in his basket so everyone is safe and happy.

I've found something I can sell on ebay, currently selling stickers and make around £50-£100 income off them but I have found something else that fits in a letter that I can sell for £1-£1.50(25p-50p profit but they should sell quite well) but I need a machine to make them and another part so waiting for seller to combine postage so I can pay ..ironicly..£270. So I will be at 0% of my £27,000 again but hopefully this addition to my business will get my closer faster so fingers crossed :-)

Obvouisly not going to say what they are. Sorry.:o But will let you know how it goes.

As its Sunday today I might get some more shoes on in the evening as timing is everything... see how the evening pans out I guess with two kids I will have to work around them not when I want to! :D

I havn't read it all yet but my Think like a tycoon book by W.Hill is good, mostly based around property so I wouldn't bother unless your looking into that (although not all way through yet so their probs be more things but he is very biased towards property) but good all same.

I got mine for £3 off Ebay(got really lucky!!) but they are selling for £18 cheapest on amazon but I would still say it was worth it.

Gonna try getting into matched betting got £50 on betfair that I want off asap but everytime I start to read the guide something happens....:rotfl:

Glad everyone is plodding along! :p

Not if your planning on staying on them! :p

But serouisly - people have been in alot worse situations and become millionaires. I can't remeber his last name now but someone I followed for a while called Jamie was over £50k debt and living on his mates couch and now is a mutimillionaire.

Tbf though he is in adult education for money, so basicly selling how to make money...which I don't agree with now as its exploiting people but he was basicly my idol at one point.

Once your income / savings reach a certain level you are not entitled to receive benefits.

To claim benefits while you are over these thresholds would fraudulent.

So in answer to your original question, NO you can't become a millionaire while on benefits, unless you commit fraud, at some point your income will increase and you will be required to stop claiming benefits.

In other news i found a great site for motivation and inspiration, i like this article : http://addicted2success.com/life/108-life-tips-from-18-of-the-worlds-wealthiest-people/

  • I feel Dave may be trying to wind us up..........? Apologies if I am wrong Dave...........

I am off work - which is a pain as it means I don't get paid. But it feels more honest and am genuinely feeling vile so no choice.

Have been thinking about income streams. not working as much in my main jobs - eventually. thought about matched betting but my maths is a shocker!

There are various things I could make and sell, I could absolutely save money on my expenses. this year I haven't made much effort in that department.

I am still in debt and can't decide what to do- it is 0% needs to go down quicker than it is.

Lots - as usual to think about. some times I do wonder if I will ever do anything!
    Nevertheless she persisted.

apology accepted:). why shouldn't i have aspirations to be a millionaire? i'm very good with money, i keep my outgoings very low, for instance, my food bill for a month is around £12-£15 so i am very used to scrimping and saving.

i've also managed to pay off my mortgage many years in advance so i live rent/mortgage free which helps a lot.
