Yes, every sellers should consult the Houseprice website before putting their house on the market. Can't believe this bungalow is much better than these sales (although I am taking a bit of a liberty here but the bungalow looks pretty poor to me):

Incidentally, there is something very strange about that "listed" "de-listed" saga so this is unlikely to be your average sale (although a nice little story for MSE).0 -

Well i could go and live down south if i wanted to but im not keen on the majority of the people who live there, basic politeness is very hard to find, why a lot of the people there insist on ignoring each other is beyond me.
Plus i couldnt bring myself to pay their ridiculous house prices.
And on a more serious note the chippy menus down south are an absolute joke.:)0 -

I wondered if this property was "suitable" as a redevelopement site? Hence the initial asking price.0 -

Where have you been down South to form such strong opinions?0 -
Where have you been down South to form such strong opinions?
I know that was addressed to Jimmy but I have to say I agree with him. My opinion is from having lived and worked there for a year and having bought and managed properties in London and Herts.
A few of the reasons why I don't like it are:
The locals who seem bereft of manners.
Transport being a nightmare.
Dealing with local companies and organisations seems to take twice as long.
Standards just seem so much lower, especially hygiene.
and lots of little things like people seeming to go out of their way to bash into each other as they walk along. Only seen this in Liverpool outside the South.
Much more widespread drug use.
Supposedly nice places which have a completely inadequate road system and parking which makes being there for any length of time frustrating.0 -
The only thing I don't like about London is all the northerners getting in my way when I'm trying to walk down the street. It's a right pain having to barge them out of my way whilst muttering curses at them under my breath (without making eye contact, obviously).0
