So, the green tax argument peddled by the guvmint is rubbish
EXACTLY
How much has the government spent on Awareness campaigns and TV advertising for alternative fuels?, compared to how much it spends in TV advertising to remind us to get our tax returns in on time for example.
How much has the government spent on investing in the research, development and rolling out of these fuels?. They do exist, it is just that they offer very little tax relief and so little incentive to manufacture them.
Bio Fuels of all kind get very little taxation in Europe, so why is the UK still years behind in its development and still taxing it to the hilt, yet the UK is always the bloody martyr when it comes to global warming. To listen to some of these greenies whinge on, and attacking those with cars better than their own out of E-penis envy, you would think that the UK invented the Alledged G.W problem!.
However these people are always very quiet when it comes to asking how many Bio-Fuel developments they have set up this year, and why are they not forming local purchasing co-operatives to enable people WHO DO WANT to buy Bio-Fuels the opportunity. I guess it comes down to the fact that it is very easy to criticise, yet a little more difficult to come up with a solution, or to get yourself out of bed in the morning, and actually DO something about it.Maybe we should all buy diesels and fill up with cheap veg oil, and not pay tax in protest?!
You'd be thrown in Jail, probably alongside those with speeding offences and the elderley who haven't paid their council tax.0 -

Because its a £500 on the spot fine with 1 hour to pay or your car gets towed and impounded and this gets added to your £500 fine along with a daily storage charge.
Maybe if we all had H reg diesel fiesta`s it would be an option. If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
