Didn't everyone get a new scanner? They must be rolling them out or something got mine yesterday & a nice glossy booklet with all the barcodes in & a new scanner with rechargeable battery & therefore it's better to keep it plugged into the comp apparently. The only difference is if something is a multi buy, eg, 6 for £5, you have to scan a special barcode after you scan each multi buy item. Also there are barcodes for all the fruit & veg that often don't have them :D

Also you get extra points for the conversion - scan the old scans in, download the USB drivers for the new one & send a special scan in & return the old scanner = 2500 points.

I guess everyone will get them soon :)

Hi, would you be able to tell us the make and model of the scanner? That sounds suspiciously like my current one which I've had for a while but I could be wrong. My scanner is an Opticon OPN-2001. Is that the same as yours?

Hi, yes that's the one I have now, there is a picture of 2 on the website with the usb drivers - I had the other one before. :D Yeah I gathered that some people had the rechargeable one as it was mentioned that they weren't having to change batteries :D

Ahhh ok, I thought I was going to get another one. Didn't particularly want to renew as this one is awesome!
