I joined the Nielsen Survey Panel last night. This morning I've emailed them to say I'm leaving. I got a ton of unwanted software on my computer, it disabled firewall and other protective things - without asking - and seemed to disable internet access.
Personally speaking, I wouldn't touch them with a bargepoleBoyfriend & I have saved £12K in two years, thanks to careful budgeting and keeping a record of what we spend. I've never paid myself this amount of money before - it feels great!0 -

As rich said, there is no software that needs to be put on your PC with Nielsen, maybe you've got a virus?Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -
I had an email from Emma's diary today. (its some kind of baby website thing) It was in my spam inbox so I nearly missed it. It had a shop and scan referral code in it so I have now joined up.
Worth checking if you have ever received these mails!
I received the Emma's diary e-mail on the same day but could not find the link:o0 -
I've been doing this shop & scan for 4 years but I feel like things are going downhill with them, I didn't need new batteries for a few years and all of a sudden I need new batteries 4 times in 6 months & they're telling me the batteries only last a few weeks sometimes - obviously not true in my experience.
They don't put their names on emails anymore and they sent me an email about how I was scanning things in wrongly but I've never had this before & I'm very thorough so I asked them which shop it was & they couldn't tell me but the reply they gave me - the spelling etc was dreadful & laughable.
Anyone else had this?0 -
I've had to replace batteries twice so far in about 6 weeks.
Before our batteries lasted ages & we don't leave it plugged in like they suggest.“Hope is the only bee that makes honey without flowers.”
Some people only dream of angels, i held one in my arms.
Praying this baby makes it.0 -

Lol it doesn't have a base unit so you can take it anywhere & scan anywhere (this is why it relies on the batteries & doesn't recharge or anything) although it does make quite a loud beep. You'd just have to make sure you don't lose it0
