    Hi all
I signed up a couple of weeks ago. Said it all went thru ok. No confirmation email tho, and not heard anything since.
I suppose it differs for everyone, but how long did it take for everyone to get their "kit"?

    Thanks
I got mine the next day if I remember correctly. :)

I always transmit bar codes after I have finished scanning them and never knew you were only supposed to do it once a week, I also do this as the manufacturers manual for the bar code scanner says that they can only retain data for 3 days.
I joined 4 weeks ago and have only transmitted once a week and my scanner retains everything Ive scanned in 7 days.

Ok, after finding the users manual on the manufacturers website I always thought it would be best to transmit after every shopping trip.

I emailed them a while ago and they said they prefer the barcodes to only be transmitted once a week, easier for them.

I got mine through a survey panel I'm a member of - Opinion World but I think they have a website somewhere that you can register interest on, try a thread search, should show something up. (Click the thread tools link and search should be one of the options).
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

  • my friend is part of the food on the go panel, thats the best thing about this whole thing. he has like 2 brothers and all 3 of them are part of it, so they do this properly and end up getting like 12,000 points (12 quid) weekly. sooo lucky. I'm still getting 1,600 points weekly, takes ages to get a voucher...

anyone know how i can become a part of fotg too???
