  • I joined Shop and Scan a couple of weeks ago, it can be a bit of a pain and the points (after the initial bonus) will stack up pretty slowly but hey, free money! ;-)

I got an invite to the Sky Viewer Panel last week also and signed up, I noticed it was run by Kantar but there was no mention of S&S, so i was rather surprised to get an email yesterday confirming my 5000 Shop & Scan points for 'Sky Viewer Panel'! I know in the T&C's for Sky it says they'll link it with other info about you but i didn't expect to have the Sky points put into the S&S account!
bit confused that the Sky Panel site seems to just be the invite and nothing else.

In fact while i'm at it with websites, the Shop and Scan one is pretty bad! Having to use Internet Explorer only, no indication of how the Upload process is going for photos until it's done etc.

@bluffer I had an auto message today checking everything was OK, nothing about scanning wrong and i've been naughty quite a lot, i seem to always forget to scan the Till Receipt Total before i move onto the items!

I think i read somewhere it holds 1000 barcodes.

After submitting mine this week, including a monthly supermarket shop i think it wiped the memory or something when it was done as there was a reset message that i don't remember seeing on a light purchases week. I'm guessing it empties itself once in a while when you submit.

It clears itself after every transmission, the page just isn't there for very long.

Does anyone know if you can request to be part of Webview or is that something you have to wait and see if you get invited to?

I'm a bit miffed as I've been with SNS for a couple of months now and I passed on a SNS referral code to someone who managed to sign up to Webview a couple of days later!

I've just joined and I received my scanner today. I can't use the CD because of accessibility problems. (Loud music in the background is impossible for anyone with hearing problems). Can you get all the info you need from the book?
    Don't mess with pensioners.

I didn't even use the cd, everything you need is in the book and the videos are on their website.

There are 2 shop and scan threads. One here and one on the Up your income thread.

with webview panel, basically you are asked to install a piece of software on your pc. This collects information about the web pages you view. It does not take your login details for internet banking, etc. They just collate information like, you visited netmums, mse, maximiles, bingo sites, etc.

There is a petrol panel as well.

On the Kantar home page where you can send them a message, you can ask to be considered for the panels, webview, food on the good, skypanel, petrol panel. They will only take you on if there are vacancies. But there is definitley no harm in asking, I asked if I could join their webview panel and they accepted me within a few weeks.

Hello! If anyone has an invite code I would be ever so grateful to hear from you, please? Thanks in advance, Janice
  • Hi, I too would like to join. If anyone gets a code I'd be really grateful if you could pm it to me. I've completed the online form before and never heard anything. Thanks.
