Nope the scanner doesn't plug into the broadband hub, it plugs into a usb port on your computer, then upload through the shop&scan website so assuming a Mac has a usb port then you should be ok.

I can refer people to family food diary if anyone is interested? Fill out a diary for 14 days and receive vouchers of £15 then on the fourth diary you will get £30 vouchers xx

So I've signed up and am expecting my scanner to arrive, although I'm now wondering if I can actually use shop and save as I have a Mac not Windows. I was under the impression you simply submitted data by plugging the scanner into your broadband hub?

You can't use a Mac with osx for shop and scan. You well need windows and more specifically; internet explorer, to be able to submit via the scanner.

I use a Mac but I have installed windows 7 via boot camp and vmmware fusion which lets me run windows on the Mac.

This will have been explained on the website that you signed up on.:rotfl:

You need to use windows and internet explorer to submit them unfortunately :( - I just use windows 7 through parallels.
