If anyone does Focusline surveys and want to join Shop & Scan, you might want to check your Dashboard as there was a survey which went to a page to join Shop & Scan, on the Dashboard it's listed as a 5 min survey for $1.00 (£0.64).

I've only been with SNS for 2 weeks and have so far uploaded my receipts twice and transmitted my barcodes twice.

I'm a bit confused as so far I have only accumulated 11000 points - 10000 bonus points for the first upload and 2 x 500 points for the receipts. Should I also have received 1100 points for my first upload on top of the bonus? I have got my receipt points from last Sunday but the barcode points have not been credited yet, should I have received these by now?

I received my email confirming the points for the barcodes early this morning so I would have thought you should have had that aswell by now, maybe give them a call, they are quite helpful.

I received the clicker today and tried to scan all the barcodes from shopping today but no beeping from the clicker after I scan each barcode although red and green lights are on. When I went to transmit it said no items recorded so I'm obviously not using the clicker correctly. I thought I was supposed to simply move the clicker across the barcode but no result so far unfortunately

You don't need to move the clicker across the barcode, just point the clicker at the barcode and press the button. Sometimes you need to move the clicker nearer or further away from the barcode for it to register. Also the clicker should beep when it has registered the barcode scanned.

My first clicker went faulty after the second time i used it.
I rang on the 0500 number and they sent a new one within 2 days.
The beam should be red and i think the best way to scan a barcode is to keep it still until it bleeps, if it does not bleep it hasnt recorded the barcode.
Although you do have to sometimes increase or decrease the distance from the barcode or maybe angle it slightly.
It is trial and error as every one is different so just practise.

sorry for stating the obvious (but i know some people don't read the instructions that come with things)..... you did give it a charge first with the USB lead didn't you?? (I am sure it said to do this first).

ETA - just looked - yes it says to charge for 2.5h before use.
