its pretty slow again now,i would be surprised if its traffic this time of day.connected to the eithernet & tried both ports & still slow but getting good dl speed of 13.8 & ul speed of 0.8
it seems to perform worse on ebay & autotrader but the other sites arnt far behind it.im pretty sure its not the laptop but as a process of elimination il try the laptop around a mates house0 -
just tried it on mozilla & alot faster than explorer so its looking like explorer is the problem0

Have you done any maintanance to Internet Explorer? i.e. delete history, cache, cookies, temp internet files? Do that once a month.
Also if you have extensions, addons and toolbars active, then disable them, as that can slow it down.
Make sure that browser security and any safety filters are not set to their most securest setting as they can over do it and slow down or drop pages, set on medium or recommended setting.
Or reset browser default settings, this will reset the programs settings to it's original default state. :beer:0
