i have a question... if you have a default on a credit card which you were paying back on a payment plan.. should you cancel the payment plan? this isnt my card btw.. as im clear now and didnt have any defaults but a friend of mine recently revealed they had financial probs after i told them about ours.. then it all kind of came spilling out how she had a default but was still paying 85 pounds a month... dont know how to advise her

Not sure but even though she has default the money is still owed IYSWIM so still needs to be repaid.
My mum is in the south of France at the mo & said the sun had it's hat on the other day!

If she has defaulted all this means is that she has broken her credit agreement to pay x% per month back as a minimum repayment. Or has gone over her limit or whatever. So she still needs to repay the money, BUT she could ask to pay back at a slower rate, and for them to freeze interest as she is struggling financially. I am sure given the current economy in the UK, they will be quite understanding...

How are YOU doing? Very busy over there?

Well done Mrs, I've not caught up with you for months & months or been on the !!!!!! ebay thread either.
I missed your house sale, move & everything, until tonight.
I hope that you are feeling more settled now & that the boys are enjoying their new school.
You can no doubt breathe properly again, you're probably feeling dizzy from all the oxygen.
Are you in France, can't remember if I read that's where you went or just that the hairdresser spoke French.
If you are in France, you could buy stuff in the markets to sell on ebay. Vintage French sells really well.
Anyway all the very very very best to you all.
