You don't have an accident at 15MPH and write off a car, even if it is 10 years old and you don't give someone a neck injury having a minor shunt at 15MPH.

Dunno about neck injuries, but denting a panel on an old car can make it effectively worthless - you could do that reversing into something at 5mph parking.

15mph is more than enough to cause whiplash injuries in the right (or should that be wrong) conditions.

I've got over 1.8 million miles under my belt, with all but around 100k of that being points and accident free. I've passed four driving tests covering everything from a motorbike to an articulated lorry first time.

Take out of that what you want.

I (according to my insurance company) gave someone neck injuries at < 10mph and very nearly wrote off a 3 year old car.

If I ever see the lying !!!!!!! again they'll have more than neck injuries
  • Spoke to the cps today and she said there was no chance that they could re-offer the driving course once its gone this far,

The lady said the only other thing i could try is to write a letter in to them explaining that as a result of me living in a new build estate only built 3 mnths before the crash that the letters from them never got to me and ask that the cps drop the case altogether if it was not in public interest to prosecute then there would be a good chance of this,

Anyone any good at writing these type of letters, i would be very gratefull if they could,

    Thanks again
