The broken loo seat is my favourite part!
pic 9, there seems to just be one wall made of doors all right next to each other? How does that work? Should a buyer be a bit worried about lintels/support of the roof etc?BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

the one on the right is a wardrobe. The one on the left I assume is the over stairs storage cupboard that a lot of these houses have. So it's not an issue I don't think.0 -

One of those doors is a freestanding wardrobe, but the cupboard right next to the door is a bit odd isn't it. Might be a stud wall I suppose.
The angle on pic 13 is my favourite, I'm guessing maybe the tenant's children jumped on the photographer while he was taking that one?
Also they seem to have avoided including the floor on any of the pics. :eek:0 -

I can't understand why someone wouldn't tidy their house up if they're selling it. Mine isn't normally tidy, but before we put ours up for sake we hired a van, chucked stuff out, took stuff to my sister's and my parents houses - and I got everyone in to help me clean.0 -

Suprise suprise the house has been on the market since August 2010.
I looked through a few of their other listings and they all seemed to have random pictures like the one below: -
Two pictures of bluebells - which of course is crucial when deciding which house to buy.

Estate agents have removed this property ...........0 -
I think the issue is that when you want to sell your house you get the agents round to give you an idea of price - and before you know it the contract's out, you've signed it and he's whipped a camera out of his pocket. So there's no time to get the house ready for photo taking.0

I must've had a good agent, because when she came to take pictures she asked me if I wanted to move the bin out of the picture she was taking in the kitchen. She says she often has people saying, 'oh, I wish i'd moved this out of the way' after seeing the photos.
No idea what she'd suggest moving in some of these photos. :rotfl:0 -

Even still, surely they can request the agent come back at another time to take photos? Or take an external shot if they want to list it on RM then come back to get interior shots?
I did a spring clean the day we had the agents come around in case they wanted to take photos there and then.Foreign politicians often zing stereotypical tunes, mayday, mayday, Venezuela, neck

I must've had a very good agent then, because they sent an *actual photographer* to take the photos the day after we signed, rather than doing it themselves with a cheap digital camera...0
