It's not just the fact that it's a bit of a mess... but the fact that the photos are terrible, wonky, poor lighting and you get no idea of how big the rooms are!

Hmmm starting to worry on the pet front now!

We have a small parrot and the agent told us to leave him, just make sure he’s clean and the area around his cage is clean. We also had a mat made of spare carpet to put around him to collect his seed so that the new carpet doesn’t even see the seed or feathers! Lol.

He won’t be in the photo’s (we’re moving his cage out of the way) but if you turned up to view a house and there he was (and he’ll probably start singing once you come in....) would this put people off a home?

He can go to my parents while the house is on the market, but that means a 30 minute drive there and back every night to see him! (he’s my baby and my mum won’t let him out when he’s used to an hour or 2 out of his cage a night).

I was looking on rightmove yesterday and found this listing. I really don't understand how the vendors can be happy with this!?!

19 Pictures - 15 of them are of the garden - crazy!

Suprise suprise the house has been on the market since August 2010.

I looked through a few of their other listings and they all seemed to have random pictures like the one below: -

Two pictures of bluebells - which of course is crucial when deciding which house to buy.

It is if they're spanish ones. They grow for fun everywhere... can't get rid of them. Dig them up and next year there's as many again.

:eek: You would of thought the agents would have suggested they make an effort for the photos - or maybe this is them making an effort?

He wouldn't put me off. Parrots are a bit untidy in their habits but they wouldn't cause a house to smell parroty.

I guess the tenants are not wanting the risk of being asked to leave if an owner occupier buys. Then again, as you said, those photos could be the "after" to a very nasty "before"..... :)
