Ignore the whole thing, or if you're dedicated, write to them saying they need to take up the matter with the driver at the time.

He should still ignore as he has not contacted the company. So they still don't know the identity of the driver .

I did read the OP and stand by my point. The company must prove that he is the driver in order to have any chance of making him liable; as long as he words the letter carefully and doesn't lie, then it's OK.

Why should he contact the company? That way he is denying them the vital information regarding the identity of the driver.

Not wise to contact the cowboys, is it haswell ? You find it most difficult taking people to the small claims without knowing who to put on the claim form!

Have you taken any other disabled drivers to the small claims lately ? I know UKCPS specialise in taking people to court who don't put a defence in, thankfully the PDFs on your pathetic website shows you up for it !
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

This is where your argument falls down.

If the charges are, as you wrongly claim, unenforcable then why would it matter if they knew who the driver was ?

Its a dagnerous game to deny being the driver if you were, surely no one on these sites would encourage the OP to lie as we all know what happens when drivers lie :rotfl:

Sorry to correct you, once again, there again being correct with information when posting does not seem to be that important to the majority of people on this site.
If a claim is undefended then the order will state this, normally will state "on hearing the case for the claimant and the defendant not appearing" or words to that effect. The ones posted on websites are in fact fully adjudged and that means after a full hearing.
Just to correct you, sorry :D
  • BTW, just so the OP knows, Central Ticketing actually does not EVER take anyone to court so even if he admits being the driver they are not going to do anything with it.
Very few companies do, as very few companies have the expertise to do it and win BUT the good ones do as you have rightly referred to.

You are twisting my words. I am not saying anything about lying. I am saying that if you do not contact the PPC then they have no way of knowing the identity of the driver. This is why your so-called "appeals" process is a sham. Its only purpose is to try and get the RK to divulge the identity of the driver.

So tell me, if nobody contacts you over a parking ticket, how do you find out the identity of the driver?
