now that sure was a desperate post, you have the cheek to tell others who have got it pretty close to what has happened and you still think they are wrong after you have posted stuff like this.

no wonder people don't respect you on here

    No, seriously, answer the question.

Is the housing market now sorted out, with no forseeable obstacles in the way?

To be honest I don't feel motivated to argue with anyone on here.

It's a bit like pulling up at the lights in a Ferrari and some clown in a J reg Rover laughing and saying it lost a grand in value last month.

I can assure you. If you are sitting on a load of equity, have a good long term tenant and are paying next to nothing for your mortgage you will not be bothered about house prices going up or down a few %.

I don't care what Halifax or anyone tells me now. If prices rose 20% tomorrow how would that effect me? I'm not chucking my tenant out and selling. As long as mortgage rates stay low I'm happy. It's all about money in my pocket.

Most of the bulls are on here because the HPC website could not stomach us saying 'we told you so'

They love coming on here and saying how we miss it yet they are the ones who can't leave us alone. Why come on here?
The whole lot of you bears are HPC idiots.

We got the message over to you anyway.
Personally, I don't want any of you to be able to buy a house.
I want you priced out and bitter. I don't care about FTB's your kids or anyone elses.

If and I doubt it's true. some of you really did sell and are sitting on money in a bank then I'm also glad you have been shafted and not getting any interest.

    I bet that doesn't wear well. :)

Property will not crash 70% like you wanted. Or rather shall I say needed.

If prices go down a bit so what?
If a home owner doesn't get what they want there is no reason to sell. Just sit tight. Won't be long before they go up again.

Slumdog !!!!! is right. You are trying to get above your station.

it's more fun to watch them wish/hope/pray [Delete as appropriate] that they try to convince themselves they've been right all along.

Mmmm, that doesn't sound like Sibley. I thought you said that prices won't fall a penny (or words to that effect). You do seem to be "softening" your bullish stance.

That's nice. Personally I'm watching my savings grow in relation to the cost of housing. 1.4% last month :rotfl:

    good for you.

i take it that you one of those that are not impacted by inflation and your savings and salary are worth less each and every month.

good for you. i'm happy for you, are you discounting your rent from the amortisation of the repayment of capital for your future mortgage?

where are you looking to buy?
