ok my review of southport pontins......
we had a good time, the room was clean the beds were new as were the bedding(didnt use tho used our sleeping bags)was gaven a £10 card for meter but was already £8 on so gave to next door who had to pay for theres
GOOD POINTS:
loads for the kids to do(reasonable prices)
room was clean n tidy
entertainment was great day n night
nice weather to boot haha
staff were helpful
BAD POINTS:
ive never met so many ignorant/arrogant people/kids in my life!!
when we got there there were 2 young lads and 3 girls in a room who thought it b good to sit outside drinking and talking about things little kids souldnt be hearing!! till 3am in the morning
there was a big fight in the pub which ended outside(the place is full of young girls drinking)with babies in prams
we found a rat on the car park!
and the grass outside was more like a rubbish tip but yet theres big bins on every 'court'but people just dont care
oh and dont eat from here haha(the fish bar asnt cleaned the fryers in ages)
there was a family over the way from us who had a ds stolen from the room(was told it would of been the cleaner when they arrived)
i went outside at 9pm and was sprayed by a water gun from a little lad id say about 7-8ys when i asked him to stop he said things that would make anyones eyes water!!he also did the same to another lady who found his grandmother who thought it was funny and happly told us the water was from the toilet:eek:
other then that we only used the place for a base n entertainment(shows,go-karts,swimming ect)
we did have a gud time only because i planed what we were doing and we were only there for 3 days which is enough
i wouldnt say DONT GO id just think on
the place is being done up and the staff are helpful and without sounding hash but its the majority of people that go that makes the place seem ruff!!0 -
Ijustloveabargain can I ask which accomadation you stayed in please, and do you know if there is any difference between the budget, classic and club apart from the price,thanks0

sorry forgot to mention...on the monday we left we had to be out the room for 10am....there were women banging on doors(not cleaners not sure what they were)shouting 'come on its 9:45am its time to get out'and the family across from us had broke there lock on there boot of the car so couldnt close it and i heared one woman say'''she f**king getting on my T**s telling me she cant leave the room because her d**k h**d of a boyfriend!!!!she then came to my door and said when u leave, leave the door unlocked and hand the keys back
which we did but when we were there there was the room next to us on the other side which was open and people were taking things out ie pans/tin openers which wasnt in there rooms haha prob because everyone sharing hahaha0
