MSE Andrea why is there someone on MSE altering posts to give a different slant? I'm officially asking you to draw this problem to Martin Lewis's attention as you have failed to give a reasonable answer.

Be interesting to get some sort of 'official' response on this issue rather than let the question be overlooked because the answer is presumably uncomfortable. Better just to have things out in the open I think.

Presumably because there is very little justification for administrators editing posts to give them a different slant. Other than 'this is a privately owned site so we'll do what we want' of course.

A lot of posting but a refusal to acknowledge this thread or at least provide some sort of answer.

I know we can go down the 'go somewhere else if you don't like the rules' route but I don't think that an explanation of why people's posts have been edited by administrators to change their 'slant' is too much to ask.

Hardly an unreasonable request surely? Ignoring the issue just generates more interest since it appears that there is something to hide.
