    Welcome Knitty78 and I understand!

OH and I are currently live in a tiny apartment, on a second floor with typically steep, Dutch stairs. It would be a nightmare to bring a baby into that environment!

We are renting, but we want to buy ideally as the rent here is sooooo high (you wouldn't believe what we pay for our tiny place!), but we are still waiting for OH's work to get their @sses in gear and offer him a permanent contract. And moving to another, bigger rental property would be a very expensive waste of money.

Ho hum, waiting it is then!

The problem with renting out is that our monthly mortgage payment is more than the similar flats rented out in our area, I doubt we'd break even. :(

euronorris, sorry to read you are in a similar situation, we can wait together until our situations change.

Also, in addition to the lack of space I still have some credit card debt that I would like to clear in advance of TTC, that way if/when we can move we don't have to take (my) debt into account - OH will probably still have some debt but we can tackle that whilst TTC/pregnant.

Yeah, my sister is in a similar position with regards to 'can't sell the flat, but can't rent it out at a high enough price either', but they have double the space OH and I do, so they are making do for now.

It's OK. It does get me down at times, but I've come to accept it now. I am also paying off debts, as you can see from my sig, and would like them gone before we start TTC.

Have you also seen the Payment a Day thread on th Debt Free Wannabees Diaries Board? I've found it great for keeping me on track with paying off the debts! It can be an uphill struggle at times!

    COMP is on honeymoon! :D

I'm finally busy with work again, although quieter this afternoon and I guess the others are pottering about, lurking here and there :D

Oh, and I'm awaiting the arrival of AF. Due today, but only had a few small cramps so far. Will probably show up early evening, like she did the last few months.
