    Evening All,
Congratulations COMP!! I've had a quick squizz and some piccies on FB, you look lovely! Enjoy your honeymoon xxxx
Well, I ate my last little pill yesterday morning, so as of today I am officially "getting my body back into shape" to TTC in Oct-Nov!! I have no idea what to expect, I've been on it pretty much constantly for 17 years...flip-half my life  I'm just hoping we don't discover that the pill has been masking lots of horrible problems..
I hope everyone has enjoyed their bank holiday weekend
    xxx

Hey Fuzz...I am showing off and waiting to ttc :p

Think we are going to start again next year, I'm 38 now so need to crack on a bit!

I quite like having the odd ttc stalker..am I weird? :o:rotfl:
    Nope I like them too:o:rotfl:

Hah, knew you wouldn't be able to resist posting for too much longer:p Miss Molly B gets prettier with each pic:)

And am I the only one who was too tight to buy a jumperoo??:D

Princess welcome :D I can completely sympathise with you and we weren't trying for as long as you 2 have been.
Even now I have a baby I still get that sinking feeling when I hear someone got pregnant 1st try or worse..they weren't even trying!:mad::mad: Ask LL & MV, we were all completely neurotic when we were ttcing last time:o:o Hope you girls don't mind me sharing...and tough luck if you do:p:D
As someone else suggested, have a lurk on the 12m+ page, you might pick up some useful info. Are you & your DH on medication?? It may need changing/tweaking. Other than healthy lifestyle(exercising, diet etc) there's not much I can suggest other than try & DTD as often as possible, I thought DH and I were at it plenty of times to catch...seems that wasn't the case as after god knows how long of BDing 2/3 times a week, I eventually caught after a mad week where we were mostly drinking and just having fun:o My excuse ...it was DHs 30th bday:D I reckon these teenagers have got it right..stuff doing the 'right' things, just get hammered and $hag:p:rotfl::rotfl:
But failing the teenage approach of conceiving...FIGHT for the test for DH..change doctors if you have to, go into a meltdown in the docs room;) anything goes! Unfortunately nothing will ever get handed to you on a plate:( Do you & DH have someone to talk to about your depression?? If you don't let it out then it will consume you both and will also hamper your efforts at ttcing :(
Please feel free to PM if you need to talk about anything, I've suffered depression too, I'm just lucky enough to be on the other side of it now:) (((HUGS))) and PMA in bucketloads:D:D

    neurotic?????

    Moi??????

...ok..maybe just a teensy bit! It is easy to get completely TTC obsessed, and I daresay I'll get that way again!

I used the Clearblue Fertility Monitor, and it worked the first month for us :) not the most romantic way of getting preggo though..'drop 'em love, I'm ovulating!' :rotfl:

Is there nothing you don't know?:p

My one bit of advice before embarking on ttc is to make sure you don't overwhelm the menfolk with all the stats. I was foolish and made my OH feel so pressured by saying we MUST DTD in next 48hours if we want to catch the egg.
That was not the best approach as he started, erm, underperforming:o and it put a lot of stress on us.

I'd say make it look spontaneous even if YOU secretly know it is the optimum time to do the deed.

Hello ladies, I too would like to join this thread. OH and I are ready to have a baby but we're in negative equity on a small one bed flat so we're going to have to wait until we can sell that and move somewhere bigger. Unfortunately most of the people I know are either TTC or not interested and I seem to be in limbo, especially as I am so ready to have a baby and I find it quite difficult to talk about it. Especially as I worry about boring/upsetting others. We don't have a date in mind yet, we're going to have the flat revalued in March/April next year, whether we decide to start before then I don't know - we run the risk of being pregnant and still in negative equity and there is no space for a baby in our flat - it's not really big enough for the two of us!

If there's room in your bedroom then baby wil be in there with you for a few months anyway:) and why not join in the convo with your ttcing friends?? You can get all the excitement with none of the knackeredness lol also gives you insight of to how it'll be and you'll be able to pick up their tips and share them here;):)

Unless it's sharing the bed or we build a window box we have no way of fitting in a baby. Also no space for the clothes, nappies, buggy and all the other things that come with a baby. :( When we got the flat it was with the view to make money from the olympics (we live in Newham only two tube stops from Stratford), unfortunately we purchased in 2007 and we're now in negative equity (and have been for some time). When we purchased it was commented that really it's a small one bed ideal for a single purchaser and we have struggled for space. I even had to get rid of my bookcase/books so we could squeeze in, the plan backfired. Sorry, I probably sound defensive but this is because we've thought long and hard about having a baby in the flat but it's just not practical.

Oh Knitty thats Bum :( Anyway you could buy/rent elsewhere and rent it out?? On the brightside, if you do wait you should be able to have a healthy savings pot/get rid of a debt or 2 and possible have longer on Maternity Leave, assuming you will be returning to work that is.
