Hi All
Just thought I would let everyone know that Boots have their own brand conception vitamins on 3 for 2 at present and you get a £5 voucher off No7 to keep us looking good :-)

Hello ladies. Can I join? Planning on TTC soon after our wedding in September. Don't think it's going to be an easy road though. I'm 31 which I know isn't ancient but have long cycles and recently tested for high levels of prolactin. Doctors don't seem overly concerned because I still have periods but I've been told to go back if it takes more than a year to get pregnant. To add insult to injury H2B suffers from delayed ejaculation (he'll kill me if he knows I told anyone) so, really, all factors are against us.
For these reasons and the fact that any hormonal contraception turns me into sobbing mental, we're not using any contraception at the moment.
To think I spent years panicking about contraception :rotfl:Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
codemonkey you are not alone in thinking like that - I've heard it said so many times before, all those years spent trying NOT to get pregnant, such a different mindset to getting pregnant.OPs so far £42,139

Happy Bank Holiday weekend everyone!
Hello to the new peeps around and a big awwwww to the baby pics that have been posted up - did anyone else's ovaries twang?
Gorgeous dress COMP! Mine is now sat in my wardrobe waiting for my mum to come visit as she hasn't seen it in the flesh yet. Did anyone else buy their wedding dress three days before their wedding?! I had one but the just before we flew to NZ i tried it on and it was falling off me. Hence me turning up in a dress shop in Christchurch three days before.....The staff were fab though and even better the dress I fell in love with was 50% off!
So my horrid cold seems to finally be retreating - just as well as I'm getting on a plane tomorrow and flying when blocked up is agony.
Did my weigh in this morning as I forgot yesterday. I've lost 2.5 lbs since last week - dead pleased cos cold put paid to any exercise. So that's 5.5 lbs in 3 weeks. S'ok but want to do better! Think I'm going to take a Davina with me next week so I can work out in my hotel room - the hotel only has a pool and having just looked at the weather forecast that will not be happening.
off to the shops in a mo to stock up on fruit and veg for OH while I'm away. Plans for today include some study for my next essay, packing, roast beef with all the trimmings and probably shooting some more monsters on the x-box with OH. I may be a bit of a geek too........

Hi all,
The little ones look adorable and even on my little tiny phone screen I could see a lovely dress.
Makes my ovaries and my heart twang as I'm waiting for both to happen.
I'll get there in the end - by hook or by crook!
The boots deal looks good - I wonder if the supermarkets have them in their three for two vitamin offers?

Hi all!
Can I join please? I'm a long time lurker on the MSE boards, and have used them before with a different log in and email - but both are now redundant and cant do the whole password thing as I don't use my original email address!
Basically, I'm 28 yrs old currently being investigated for PCOS (2:1 ratio on FSH and LH confirmed, as well as raised Testosterone so all the symtoms are there) waiting for my scan, also have endometriosis, an underactive thyoid and some other lady probs!
Hubby and I have A LOT of debt that was left to me when my ex disappeared off to the USA and left me with all the joint loans and credit cards (I have MUG tattooed on my forehead I know)
However, we are looking to start TTC in 12 months, if not sooner depending on the consultants recommendations.
I'd love to try and get into the spirit of forum chatting etc, so .... Hello!!0 -
