It's not the noise it's the actual action of brushing that makes me feel ill. Doing my own teeth I'm fine - like I said I'm strange!

Hi all
too right kalama. have to share all that pooey goodness!!
I also recommend using a site to track your cycles/fertility. Its good to get an idea of when you usually ovulate. Or even how long/regular your periods are. I use FF too, here's my site if anyone wants to add me as a friend or sign up

Super impressed by the tales of weight loss. I need to lose at least 20lbs but don't really have a fixed idea of the upper limit - I'll stop when it feels right! I'm using portion control, healthy eating and exercise and I'm recording my weight and my measurements. I'm doing my first weigh in on Saturday morning so we'll see how that goes!
I think there is going to be a need for an added bit on post 1 for a weekly weighin for weight loss at this rate :rotfl:Will spur us all on. Everyone on the scales Friday morning and report in ...:rotfl:0 -
Just checking cycle dates it will deffo be from 1st July onwards when we are trying. Can you change me to July instead of June.
LegalBlonde: We will be ttcing buddies! What you doing to prepare at moment? You started folic acid yet?0 -
Rebekah - I agree that having weight loss on the 1st page as well be defo be motivating! Might keep my weigh in to a Saturday though as I have to get up at 05.50 on weekdays and focusing on the scales may be a problem. I'd end up entering a weight equivalent to a large elephant..."No society can surely be flourishing and happy of which by far the greater part of the numbers are poor and miserable"Adam Smith6/300

euronorris wrote: »During an average cycle your temp will dip on the day you ov, and then start to raise and remain elevated until just before AF arrives (or remain elevated if you are pregnant). I don't fully understand the ins and outs, but that is the very basic level info. I believe that FF also offers a lot of information about temping, how to do it, what it means etc.
Temping can be particularly useful if you are experiencing irregular periods, or are unsure if you are ovulating etc as it will help to identify when/if you have ovulated. It's not 100% accurate, but it gives you an idea, and of course you then know the best time to BD when you are trying

So weigh in could be some point over the weekend then. So everyone to have reported in by Monday morning? lol. I need to loose a bit more. I lost a stone before we got married 2 yrs ago another year last year. Whilst I am on the edge of normal want to come down the middle of the range. So another 1/2 stone would do me.0

Hi All,
please can I join you? I've jumped over here from the weddings boards, my new hubbie and I were wed on the 30th April but don't want to start TTC until after our honeymoon, which is in October (New Zealand for 3 weeks :j). I'm 33, he's 34, so we don't want to wait too long, in case we have complications.
I haven't read all the posts on here, but I'm hoping it's as friendly as the wedding boards!
Is anyone else a first timer and absoloutely terriefied (but also mega excited, of course!) at the thought of the responsibility of having a child totally dependant on you?! I know we'll be fine-heck, I was a nanny throughout my Uni holidays!-but there's no turning back once it's happened !
OK, better shut up now before I sound like a totally irresponsible idiot!

I feel exactly the same Magicboo, can't wait to start trying but then catch myself occassionally thinking "What are you DOING?! Life will never be the same!"My DH is exactly the same! Blimmin wimp, DH did come in with me when I had my c-section, mostly coz I was sh!tscared of hospitals let alone an operation:(, and also coz our fab midwife insisted he wouldn't be able to see anything, she even took him in before it was prepped to show him and he was fine, didn't pass out once and kept his head very close to mine:D:D
God I wish mine was a wimp! Unfortunately he has a medical background (military though so not like he's a midwife!) and is insisting he wants to deliver our baby. I said as a compromise he could catch it, and if i happen to get shot in the arm in the delivery room he can help!DEBT FREE 3rd Sept 2011
