    What I would like to know is where I stand in terms of the contract?

    Has Vodafone broken them, by not being able to provide a reliable service?

    All mobile operators have something in their T&Cs along the lines of "we cannot guarantee a fault-free service and we are not liable for loss of service"... which I guess is kind of fair enough as nothing is 100% reliable, but what is lacking IMHO is some kind of timeframe within which faults should be fixed and after that a set compensation per day should be paid to affected customers. Unfortunately, I can't see that happening anytime soon...

    been looking at the T&C's and found this...

    b) You may end this agreement by writing to us if:
    - we don’t do something fundamental that we should have done under this agreement (for example, if there is a complete failure of the network for 7 days in a row due to something we have done), within 7 days of you asking us in writing;

    looks good to me.

    we are now on day 13 of no service in the town! and i have had no reply to any of my emails to vodafone.

    lol, good point.

    I could argue that they failed to respond to the fault untill day 10. That's when they finally acknowleged there was a problem.

    Hi Mark G,

    I am really sorry to hear about the issues you have experienced, I understand how frustrating it must be.

    So that I can look into this for you personally, can you drop me an email to webrelations@vodafone.com with WRT135 (FAO Heidi) in the subject and a link to this thread.

    Many thanks,
