Unlocking network 3 phone

Well, I survived the sales team and the very nice guy was kind enough to put me through to customer services, but I was then told I couldn't pay them and I would have to have it done on the open market.
However, I wasn't very convinced by the person I was talking to and given sparky93's reply, I might buy the phone and ring another number I found on the 3 website (it's not free like the normal number) and try again. If the answer is still no, then I will just have to pay a bit more to get it unlocked elsewhere.
Thank guys! :TNumpties...I'm surrounded by them...save me...:whistle:0 -
I don't know if Monkey Mobile is a national store, but I asked in my local one about unlocking a Nokia E73 on 3 and was told that some 3 phones can be unlocked whereas others can't.
The guy said I wouldn't be charged if it turned out it wasn't possible to unlock it.0 -
