Unlocking network 3 phone
I have a mobile phone contract with 3. No problems apart from the phone itself which is a Nokia X3-02. I really dont like it at all so I have taken out the sim and put it in another phone...its working fine. Someone has offered to buy the Nokia so I took it along to the local mobile shop to get it unlocked. The guy in the shop said that phones on 3 cant be unlocked so it looks like I am stuck with it unless there is another way. Are these phones really unlockable? I would be grateful for any advice. Thankyou.

I noticed that too. I am surprised that he is allowed to put that in his T&Cs. If a buyer insists on paying via Paypal I dont see how he can refuse.

I'm thinking about buying a refurbished N97 that is locked to the 3 network. I'm glad I did some research because I've unlocked phones on other networks before and didn't realise it can be harder to escape from some than from others (I know it can be to do with the model of phone too though)!

LOL! I asked the question on here because to speak to someone at 3 you need the number of the mobile (I don't know it) or you have speak to the sales team. So I'm waiting to speak to the sales team at this very moment! :eek::DNumpties...I'm surrounded by them...save me...:whistle:0

I have had 2 nokia e71's ex 3 unlocked, by 3. called them and asked. they did some blacklist checks and then gave me the codes.0
