Can anyone tell me what to expect when I receive this bumpf from Citi?
Is it a case of signing the form and returning it with "requested proof" or do I have to add more information to the application form? I had a look at their PDF file for applying by post and it is asking for a lot more information that what is on the online form.
Also I'm not sure if I should send payslip in or not. Is that for the overdraft (which I don't want) or is it so you can get the debit card?

You only need to send in payslip if you want the overdraft.0 -

Ok thanks. I have one other problem. I have been having a bit of a shredding frenzy, so have no utility bills to send em. I don't want to send em my bank statements.
My Council Tax bill shows arrears of over £1k, which is now clear and up to date so I am reluctant to send that.
My gas bills are online but as luck would have it, there is a "technical problem" so they are unable to upload my most recent gas bill. The last one I have is dated 12th September.
Think they'll take it, or shall I just wait for the new gas bill to turn up? I was hoping to have this bank account sorted by the beginning of 2007.0 -

I don't know about the gas bill, but you might just get away with it as its only just over 3 months old, but shouldn't you be due another one as I get one every quarter - might be worth a try but with regards the CT bill - I sent mine which also showed arrears but when I called them they said it was just to confirm address and identity, not to see what you owe etc.
It did take about two weeks for my account to be set up so it might not be sorted staright away anyway - I presume you have to allow for Xmas/New Year etc.
Hope this helps though I'm not much good at this0 -
I'll just wait till the new gas bill turns up, which they said will be in about a week.0

What account is this for-just the normal current account?
Also, what is the actual card you get? Can you use online? Being disabled this is really required.
Thanks
