Sorry, but I don't think there's much you can do especially if you've cut the label out. Try eBay or a boot sale, but next time it's best to check the store's refund policy.Foreign politicians often zing stereotypical tunes, mayday, mayday, Venezuela, neck

mmm i am pretty sure she just means the lypsy tag which is sep to the pricetag.
these lypsy tags are pretty big and often come with an envelope attached which contains spare button/beads or even straps.
personally i always remove these tags when i get home - but wouldnt do so before trying on the frock either at home or in the store.
i really dont think anyone would expect to return an item of clothing they had "cut" the actual label out of... afterall the garment is now damaged
although i may be a bit naive...:p
from the store's point of view - they do tend to have new ranges v regularly and if they only have one of a particular dress - they would prob have to put it on a rail of its own which doesnt look good - or keep it as an item to go in the half price sale.
also - i dont like paying full price for a garment which doesnt have the original tags attached, as it makes me think it has been in someones home..... someone who cud have cats who pee everywhere, or someone who smokes...etc etc...
Lypsy tags cannot be re-attached easily as they are a ribbon or string with one of them tampre-proof boxes on.
dare i say this:
shops are aware people buy something for a night out then try to return it afterwards to get their money back or exchange for their next night out's outfit :A
so i dont think you have a cat in hells chance unfort.
p.s. i dont have any knowledge of retail, i just shop at lypsy a lot haha
