If you travel a lot or commute a lot a kindle is definitely worth it. If you travel overseas, you will definitely appreciate spending the extra for 3G as there are no roaming fees. Great feeling to be sitting in Singapore airport, finishing your book and downloading the next one!

There are lots of free books if you're willing to read the classics, so it does pay itself back slowly.

Loads of free 'non' classic ones too ;)

I opted for the wifi only one, I didnt think Id use the 3g at all. I have about 190 books on my Kindle just now, I just download them as I see them so always have plenty available if Im out :)

So far Ive spent around £10 on books in the past few months, I could easily spend that a week - its more than paid for itself now

Many thanks LAM for the horsey tips - will be giving them a try :D. Olly had his back shoes removed for a couple of months when the weather was bad and lots of snow etc, but I had to leave the front ones on as he had quite a bad horizontal crack in his hoof and I didn't want the hoof damaged any more. It had almost grown out but last week farrier said he now has seedy toe/white line disease and had to cut a big wedge out of it. He usually has really good hooves.

Thank you for both the websites. Will def be having a look at them. You've done really well with your wins this year. Hope it keeps up for you.:D

Thank you starlight, sepa and michelle for your comments re kindle. Looks like I may just have to get one...once I have enough in vouchers of course. I definately couldn't justify paying real money for it. I managed to cash out a £5 Amazon voucher from My Survey yesterday so I'm £5 closer. May be this time next year before I can get the kindle though if Toluna keeps taking so long to send vouchers. I'm waiting on 3 x £15 at the moment from there.

My mortgage payment came off yesterday so balance is £26530 at the moment, so michelle you are £90 ahead of me:mad::D!!
I've got some ebay money coming to me, about £50ish and another £150ish maybe towards end of month but I'm sure you have things in the pipeline too so we're pretty much neck and neck at the moment:D.

In last couple days I have earned :

    MySurvey - 100 points
    Onepoll - 40p
    SurveyNetwork - 75p
    OpinionBar - £1
and aforementioned ebay sales which I am still awaiting one payment so not sure of final profit after paypal fees.

Not much else to report really - haven't been to the supermarket so, so far so good:D, however Operation No Vending Machines is failing miserably:mad: - must try harder:o. I just crave coffee first thing. Will need to bring some in to work and make it myself.

It's a bit more than that as i was at £26,265 yesterday. But don't worry yourself too much as their is nothing big in the pipeline for the rest of this month. I am working my socks off on dooyoo and ciao for pence, so i might have somewhere round £100 next month at the rate i am going.

    what's the puss cat called?

My beautiful girl was called Cleo. I lost her to cancer in December. Nobody could have asked for a better natured cat. Still miss her terribly.

    Do you have any pets?

Hi fairly new on MFW too. Just read you're dilema about the Kindle and just want to add my thoughts. I saved Amazon vouchers for mine as couldn't justify the expense and I have to say I wouldn't be without it now. I also notice you're crafty so maybe you could make your own cover - I made a fabric one and it seems fine for keeping the scratches off.
