I have only just started posting on here too, after lurking for YEARS
. I've picked up so many good tips, and they're right - it is addictive!
I know what you mean about your horse and your skin care. If these are your 'things' then, fine, go with it is what I'd say. It's not about giving up everything you like and having no fun, but doing the most with what you've got. Life is meant to be lived
I have subscribed to your diary, and look forward to seeing your success
Thank you for your post and support. I have just read your diary and subscribed too.

BTW i went for another follow up laser appointment on teusday..both eyes have improved and i can read another line down with the left eye.......still not 20/20 yet thought...have another review in 7 weeks, you never know they may improve another bit.
I also agree on that you have to live a little whilst on the MFW journey as life is very precious and we only get one go.
Have a good weekend
Thank you for your lovely post. As you had probably realised from the previous posts on your thread that I lurk there (and in lots of other diaries too). I will be posting more regularly on all diaries. Promise:D!
I didn't know about the ebay free listing so thanks for passing that on. I have even more reason to get my listings done now....and I really, really, REALLY hate doing it too!!:D But it's always worth the effort when that little bit of extra cash gets paid over to the mortgage.
Glad the eyes are still improving and there is still chance they will improve more. Although the results were good from the start for me, I was very surprised at how they still improved more over 2/3 months - and not just the distance I could see but the 'stability' of my vision too (to start with I felt that my focus would come and go a bit and I had to blink a lot to maintain it - this has completely settled now). I had a check last week and they were much the same as last time - better than 20/20 but not sure by how much. They would have 'discharged' me after that appointment but decided to see me again in 3 months time just due to the dryness and blephitis that I had experienced. Both seem to be almost completely away though and my eyes feel (and, according to the optician, look) great. Wish I'd had it done years ago!! Hope you feel the same.
Well, didn't get to use my new card today as RHS ticket page is down. Will try again tomorrow.
Managed to earn £1.00 on Onepoll, 5 points on MySurvey and £0.75 on Valued Opinions.
Plans for the weekend are to visit parents on way home from work (and hope they offer me dinner
!!), go to the local craft fair tomorrow to catch up with a friend who has a stall at it (and try not to buy anything!) adnd Sunday will be spent at the stables (though the weather forecast is not looking good so this visit may be a little shorter than planned!!).
Another unplanned mammoth post here!!! At this rate I'll be spending my life on this forum, lol!!:D I'll shut up now.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Yay = another new diary. None of us bite, so post away. It always makes me chuckle a bit when people are scared to post here. I think we have to be one of the least cliquey boards. I like to think we make everyone welcome unless they are a spammer.
Your mortgage is virtually the same as mine. We are at about £26,650, and i really want it gone by the time i am 35. If i were still working it would probably be gone by now, but i do prefer being at home with the kids, so i won't dwell on that.
I'll race you. :rotfl:0 -

OMG - Nothing like getting thrown in at at the deep end! Michelle you are a legend on this forum!! Oh well, I'm always up for a challenge:D!
Thanks for the encouragement AuntieMabel.
Maybe if I had read this before I left the house today I might not have spent so much. I bought a storage box for my gem stones for my jewellery making (just a hobby, and a relatively new one at that) which was £12.99 from Argo*s. I then bought a little bowl (£5) for my newly decorated spare room, scones (£2) and jam (£2) at the craft fair. Bang goes the budget and the diet!!
Still haven't done anything about ebay photos/listings and won't get chance tomorrow so it will definately happen on Monday.:o
Earned £0.80 from Survey Netw*rk and 250 points from Ips*s.

A legend? Ooh you do flatter me.
I spent about £32 on food today, and that was it. And that was on our new stoozing CC so i need to stay on top of that and get it in the ISA at 3.35%.
Always motivates me to have a bit of friendly competition.
