My bridesmaid dresses, I was going to buy for £22 each but the day I wanted to buy them, a sale started and I got them for £12.50 each.
My dress is a Maggie Sottero ex display dress (so a little damage) reduced to £484.
My venue is giving 20% off because it is a bank holiday. We wouldn't have been able to afford the place otherwise.0 -
My latest bargain also my BM necklace.
kit Heath hall marked silver necklace worth £49.99, for £10.01 brand new from eBay!
tho, it still can't beat the £60 tie for £2! Think I'm goin to struggle beating that!!

Just got a great bargain on my MOB outfit - I have a lovely tea length lace dress already in a stone colour and wanted to brighten it up with a nice jacket - just got a beautiful linen/silk mix jacket is a lovely green colour with 3/4 sleeves. It's exactly what I was looking for and reduced in the sale from £130 to £39! Already have the bag and shoes so just need headgear now - probably a fascinator as I'm not a hat person!0

Wow Debbie, that's fab. And very MSE wearing something that you already have.
My mother is definitely wearing a hat, they really suit her. She will look amazing, aaahhhhh.7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

We've not exactly bought them yet but we'll be saving over £600 on our wedding rings. Actually, I'm not gloating but I'm going to write this down to show OH because he's an idiot and can't do maths lol.
His ring £ 1150.00
My ring £ 799.00
Total £ 1949.00
20% discount £ 389.80
New total £ 1559.20
15% off balance £ 233.88
Total price £ 1325.32
Total saving £ 623.68
The "15% off balance" comes from a perk my fiance gets from work. I've looked and looked all over the internet (despite not buying from the internet) and this price cannot be beaten by ANYONE so we're chuffed to pieces. We had to save money on the rings because at £2k that was 40% of our budget but we want our rings to last forever (or at least a fairly long time.)
ETA, this may still seem quite expensive but OH wanted matching rings (awww) and my engagement ring is platinum so obviously I had to have a platinum wedding ring.Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)0 -
