Do you need to buy it before you ring mothercare?0

Thanks, i've been wanting to buy one of these for my little boy for ages, but even second hand ones are usually more expensive than this. Nearly bought it earlier this week at a few £££ more, so am pleased i waited.

Brought one of these for a pound from the local jumble sale last week and lil one loves it! Brand spanking new, but no box.:D0 -

They told me it was only if the original item (so this case from amazon) was over 20 they said it wasnt if the difference was 20 :SElisesMummy wrote: »Practically managed to get the pink one for less than £5! I was ordering from Mothercare anyway and under the price promise if the difference is more than £20 you get the refund plus a £10 gift voucher. The difference is £20.31 so being refunded that and have a voucher on its way which will come in handy with our baby due next week! Very pleased thanks OP
I rang up and they gave me the discount straight away as I had said I was looking to buy it from them, so didnt need to buy it first if you see what I mean.tattybonce wrote: »Well yes, they can't refund you with a voucher if you haven't already paid for it!
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end

Did you get a voucher too? :j0

Thanks op.
Just telephoned mothercare and they price matched with the pink one and sending me the £10 voucher. I ordered over the phone with them, so you can just ring up and check they will give you the price match before you place the order.0 -
I rung up but they said they had to wait until I actually had the item in my hand so they've made a note and I need to call back when I've got it.0

I just rang back and they have now given me a voucher but shouldnt have.
She said as the product was only 14.68 it is under the 20 threshold for a voucher.
But it isnt exactly clear as it does look like if the difference is 20 you will get it.
Won't complain its technically cost 4.68
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end

Thanks OP.
First attempt was refused the £10 voucher.
Rang again and spoke to a different sales person who said they'd match it without even checking the amazon page and the voucher is on it's way!
If at first you don't succeed...0
