  • oh dear. just been reading this thread. i booked my parcels to be delivered to 2 adresses in southern England. was happy with the price, very cheap. They failed to collect the parcels today, then ive just read this thread. getting in touch with them seems to be an absoloute nightmare. would be much easier with a refund and i`ll book with someone else. WHAT A NIGHTMARE AVOID THIS LOTLIKE THE PLAGUE
  • Hi Guys,

I have had had similar experiences with Parcel2Go. They are very unreliable and all you get is a "sorry it's not our fault message" which is very disheartening.

We now do a lot of online selling and have accounts set up with couriers such as TNT and Streetwise who are excellent when you deal with them direct.

I presume most of the people using Parcel2Go etc are getting the item collected the next day? If there should be no excuse.

My tip is to try and get the account number that Parcel2Go use and call up the depot for the delivery company you use directly to ensure a collection is actually scheduled.

    Hope that helps.
  • Copy of my Trust Pilot review they (MDP) have just had removed.

P { margin-bottom: 0.08in; } This is the second time I have used this company. The first time last year my parcel was not collected by City-Link then re-booked and not collected again and when I canceled the delivery I had to resort to making a Pay Pal claim before I eventually got my refund from them before the claim was processed.
I might add on that occasion I have a very annoyed City-link driver eventually turn up 2 days later to collect my parcel because MPD had not canceled the order with City-Link.
I wrote a negative review that time and 10 months later I was contacted by the review company because this company had complained about my review.
At that time I vowed never to use this company again, however as they have a name very similar to another on line parcel delivery company I used them by mistake again.

Guess what, yet again my parcel was not collected on the arranged date, this time by MyHermes.

As the parcel was time sensitive and due to the fiasco I had with this company last time, I canceled the order (and still have the confirmation E Mail from the customer services apologising and blaming it all on Hermes) and re-booked it directly through the MyHermes site.
Not only was my parcel collected when MyHermes said it would be it was also cheaper and without any Pay Pal surcharge added on top as MPD includes.

On this point don't think that by using Pay Pal you'll be protected because you won't.

I have tried this last few weeks to get a refund from MPD for the failed collection and cancelled order, but of course yet again you just get fobbed off.
Thus I resorted again to making a Pay Pal claim. This time the claim was allowed by MPD to be processed by Pay Pal, only for Pay Pal to refuse to protect me because they do not cover virtual services, quote “We've denied your claim because you purchased a virtual, digital or intangible item, which isn't covered by our Buyer Protection.” (Something I now suspect MPD are fully aware of)

SO PAY PAL WILL NOT PROTECT YOU WHEN USING THIS COMPANY'S SERVICES.

To add to my misery because MPD yet again failed to cancel my order with MyHermes, they did eventually turn up and take yet another parcel of mine this time one I had left out for another courier, in error and deliver it to the wrong address, thus causing me even greater inconvenience and expense recovering that item.

So in summary I have used this company twice now using two different couriers. On two differing occasions.
Both times they failed to collect.
Both times after acknowledging the cancellation, that have in fact failed to cancel the courier
Both times I had to fight to get a refund, the second time failing.
Both times as no doubt you'll read in a reply from them they will deny it's any fault of theirs.

You work it out. I expect MPD will blame the couriers.

MY ADVICE FORGET THESE "MIDDLE MEN" AND BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE COURIER, MOST HAVE VERY USABLE WEBSITES NOW WHICH PROVIDE THE SAME SERVICE AND OFTEN CHEAPER AND IF THINGS GO WRONG THERE IS NOT ANOTHER COMPANY TO "CONVENIENTLY BLAME"

I also note suspiciously that this appears to be another company on Trust Pilot who either has reviews by customers of 1 star or reviews by “customers” ;) of 5 stars, and guess what all the 5 stars are immediately have the "Review by confirmed purchaser" tag added, yet the 1 star's don't even though MPD order numbers have been given to Trust Pilot and are attempted to be buried by a flood on new "5 star ratings", I leave it up to your imagination as to why...

Oh yes they'll also “report” and have “removed” from Trust Plot any negative reviews for completely bogus reasons, like “referring to other websites or companies” THE COMPANIES THAT THEY USE AND ARE MENTIONED WITHOUT PROBLEM IN MANY SO CALLED 5 STAR REVIEWS

I'll now be leaving this review on whatever site I can.

I feel it is my duty to warn any potential customer of MYPARCELDELIVERY.COM to avoid doing business with them. Do not be tempted by their upfront all singing all dancing website (they sing like Pierce Brosnan and dance like John Sargent.....but without the comedy element) It is a front for a very dodgy business. They will take your money and then stall, duck, dodge and lie to avoid taking responsibility if anything goes wrong with your delivery.....and it will one day.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!

Their own complaints procedure is a time wasting scam designed to wear you down.

The only way to deal with this bunch of bandits is to take them to the Small Claims Court. It's really not difficult. There is an excellent guide on this site here :

    moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/small-claims-court

Remember to send a letter of intent to take action in the first instance as this will be required when the court looks into the case. Only when their diabolical service is hurting their numbers will they wake up and smell the coffee.
Don't bother writing to customer complaints as they are trained and paid to AVOID helping the customer. They will reply with mealy mouthed scripted answers that will try your patience.

Instead, to begin with, send your letter of intent to take them through the Small Claims track to:

  • This company are a complete sham and something needs to be done about these and similar companies. After booking a collection on a Tuesday for collection on Wednesday, they didn't turn up. After speaking to an online agent they rebooked it for Thursday and still didn't turn up, despite numerous assurances that city link were on their way. I kept in regular contact with them and they were pretty much blaming city link for the problem - 'the drivers hand held device isn't working', 'the driver can't find the house', the driver hasn't even attempted the delivery'. After spending a lot of time chasing this up on Thursday, there was still no collection. Same happened Friday they said now it wont be collected until Monday. At which point I cancelled the order, asked for a refund, asked why this has happened and asked for some sort of compensation for the time taken away from work sorting out this problem. Despite constantly trying to be in touch with them now, there is no reply and I still don't have my money back.
SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THESE COMPANIES - PEOPLE NEED TO BE WARNED!!

I wish i had read this thread before using myparceldelivery.

I have used them for 4 parcels. 1 parcel they damaged and refused to give claim money because it was monitor.
and other two parcels they have lost.
1st they wasted my time in saying that they are trying to locate parcels, but when they couldn't they said they will file a claim. which took a month. and now it's been 3 months and no claim money has been paid for the lost parcels. Everytime i speak to their customer service they say they will escalate to accounts team and that's been going on for about 2 months now.

Is there anyone who can help. They are one of the worst companies i have every dealt with. Is there a way we can name shame them in media ? or get them closed through governing body ?

Finally suggestion to users, NEVER EVER USE THEM, they are the worst when it comes to service.

Your claim for the monitor was pointless.
You knew that from reading the T&Cs though?
  • The first and only time I have ever used My Parcel Delivery - they were meant to come yesterday, as confirmed by email. I (like most people in the week) am at work all day so my gran stays in ALL DAY to wait for the guy to collect my parcel.

    HE DIDN'T !!!!!!!' COME!

So have arranged for today, when, again, i'm at work and my gran is actually going out... and have found out just now that they don't pick up parcels that are unattended!? Even if it's blatently right outside!

So what do we do? Stay off work just to have someone pick up the f*****g parcel, and even then they prob will not arrive!!??

    What a f*****g joke!

    Useless.
  • We also had problems with MyParcelDelivery.com.

They lost our package, our son's scooter we sold through eBay, and after 6 weeks of asking for updates, we got nowhere. We lost the scooter, valued at £27, and all they offered was the postage back.

Avoid these guys at all cost!
  • I have used many companies and all let me down, thye take you for granted. there is no customer support at all. A freind of mine recomended busy bee parcel i tried them and kept my finger crossed there was a problem but i was supprised they emailed me and sort out the problem very quickly. the best experience:T with parcle delivery and courier company in my life.
