WARNING - My Parcel Delivery.com and other online couriers

Hi,I attempted to use myparceldeliver.com for the fist time, what a big mistake!
The service was booked on line for collection and delivery of 1 parcel..
Parcel booked for 01/12/2011 after 4 failed collections and 36 hours using online help was kept waiting on line 7 hours! then disconnected!
queue stared @ 21 then gradually reached number one in the mean time was prompted to leave message but persevered until number 1 in queue only to be cut off.
Fictitious manifest posted online blablabla unable to collect, no access to premises, even though location was normal residential house with ample access and parking and not on a busy main road.
At this stage All I wanted was a refund, my money back...! the date is now 03/01/2012 and I as yet not received a refund,my only option now is to put payment in dispute with paypal
Question' is all just a big con extracting money from unsuspecting customers, sitting on it(with interest) then eventually refunding? I wonder.

I've given this company several benefits of the doubt, far more than they deserved yet they still treated me appallingly. I was not a one off user, I sent an average of 100 parcels per month for 9 months, they seem to have broken down November/December time and all avenues of communication seem to have disappeared..0 -

Their website may look good and they win awards but they are sloppy and do not care about their customers, I very rarely make company complaints on these boards, when I do so it is because I have been pushed.
Myparceldelivery.com are ready to blame couriers when a problem arises, missed collections, no communication, etc, but I wonder how much of that is their fault, especially when they fail to communicate with their customers.
I know from experience with other similar companies who respond quickly and well to problems that myparceldelivery.com are quite inadequate at their business..0 -
3 months on and still no payment from a claim from myparceldelivery.com, so far had a variety of excuses and promises, that's when they bother to answer me.
Looks to me as though they are barely staying in business so I'd be more than wary of using them, when other much better (and many cheaper too) parcel resellers are around..0 -

We have taken measures to address this issue immediately by bringing in experienced members to the team which has already had a significant positive impact on Service levels. Since the start of 2011 the company has seen significant growth which has continued into 2012.”Could you do with a Money Makeover?

hi i have just been reading the comments and issues with myparceldelivery.com and was pleased to see that i am not the only one who is having issues with the company however i am very annoyed that there is a problem in the first place. my parcel was supposed to be delivered on Friday 10/08/2012 but never arrived. i recieved no apology or explaination as to why my parcel was not delivered. i have tried to contact them numerous times and most of the time i get no reply as others have also posted. the times that they do reply they claim they are waiting for a response from the courier and will get back to me but never do. i tried to contact the courier but they told me they are not allowed to speak to me directly. this company has the worst customer services i have ever had to deal with i feel like i am banging my head against a wall and don't know what to do0

These guys are sharks. Don't use them. This is the WORST service known to man. I had an urgent letter to send to South Africa. I arranged a pick up on Tuesday. By 15:00 I go onto the live chat and they assured me that the courier will collect the parcel by 18:00. Guess what, no collection. I now have to use another company to send the parcel. It seems like poor service seems to be the norm at this business. I only wish I'd read the previous reviews first as there are so many unsatisfied customers.Failing to take responsibility for failed collections is just passing the buck. I have now had to book another courier for the parcel and will be asking for a refund.0
