Business web hosting and broadband?

I was perusing the forums as I'm looking for an ISP/Tel comparison and came across this one. I have 3 sites from 1&1 Internet. And I'm happy with them, I'm sure there not the very cheapest, but my (business) partner is in IT so I go with his suggestions. Wanado/Orange was not high on thinkbroadband's site though. Cheers BCC0

I know you said you're used to it but try and reconsider Frontpage. The general consensus among anybody who's involved in web design or development is that it's the worst possible way to build a web site. It generates horrible HTML and Frontpage extensions often restrict and add to the cost of web hosting, as well as being non W3C compliant.
http://www.penguin-uk.com are good for hosting. Have a look at ADSL Guide (or whatever it's called now) for broadband recommendations.0 -
try godaddy.com if it's a small website or if it's a large website with shopping cart try fasthosts.co.uk. I'd not use 1and1.co.uk as I've had a very bad year with them so has a mate that spent over £8K a year with them.0

Depending on what you're looking for it might be worth considering an american host or a british host with american servers because the space/bandwidth is cheaper.
dont ever have your site hosted in the USA. 2 reasons:
1) You then dont rank in uk google (etc) searches
2) Your site may fall under american law (and no one wants that, ever!)0
