i see the point. it doesn't really work. society doesn't work like that.

if that logic was correct and worked, there would be no murders or nobody being killed because people know they will be going to prison.

it's knowing what's right or wrong coming from parents, teachers, peers even what's on TV etc... sticking single mums in a hostel won't correct all of that.

Think your logic is slightly out there, if the penalty for murder was a free council house and a few hundred quid a week, I believe there would be a lot more killings.

    i rest my case...
Of course it's close to logical.

i notice that ILW has picked on one line in one post to try and make a logical argument, it says it all really <<< struggling

    So 1 hostel per 10 mothers or 10 houses/flats per 10 mothers.

    I vote hostels.
we can't build enough council houses but we would be able to build enough hostels.

    i vote hostels

Cannot see that you can disagree with the logic though, or are you going to say it would not happen?

people killing others to get a council house and a few hundred pounds is the kind of stuff that would be accepted as normal and the correct way to behave by the usual nutters on this forum...

I note that my retorts are now apparently being ignored. I am still trying to find where I brought workhouses into the debate. Either that or the poster who alleged this is imminently about to apologise...

With 8 years experience of working in social housing, you'd think I've no real evidence on which to base the points I've raised, so I'd best shut up. However, the Daily Mail & Express readers clearly have more in depth & better structured thoughts on the matter than I, based on a half hour tv programme...
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

it's like the posters that live somewhere like Devon and are experts on property markets in London or Aberdeen or any city in the UK...

don't hold your breath on the apology, the response will go on a tangent.

    I aint apologising.

    Post 61.
According to this thread, we should shove em in the workhouse.
Yet you have now said the only other person to bring workhouses into this thread apart from yourself, is chucky. The one person you have said you agree with. Not one single other person has bought workhouses into the disucssion, yet you label us all as wanting such a thing.

Why should I apologise? What should I apologise for? You were the one labelling us all.

It's been left as there is no point discussing it with you. It's quite clear you have joined chucky and are now going off on weird and wonderful tangents about murders etc.

You did the same on another thread, where you absolutely slammed the tories for cutting that debt grant. You then stated I was completely wrong in stating that the tories hadn't cut the funding, it went to other groups too. You again stated I was wrong. I gave proof, you never returned to the thread, even though other posters were asking you to apologise. And here you are telling me I should apologise for you for the same thing?

Never argue with a lefty. It's pointless.

I grew up on the Aylesbury Estate in Peckham and read the Daily Mail.
