Has anyone else had experience of (text removed by MSE Forum Team) at catflapfitter.co.uk? We gave him £100 deposit over 3 months ago and he has not been seen since. Has changed his mobile number, no longer has a landline. Does not answer email, texts or mobile.

There is a long thread about him somewhere, I believe...you are not the only one.

(Will see if I can find it for you)

  • want an address?

    http://whois.domaintools.com/catflapfitter.co.uk

If you want you can complain to Nomnet about the fact that he is breaking the .co.uk registration rules by not providing a registrants name.

Actually this link contains even more info, name, address phone number and email address

    http://whois.domaintools.com/catflapfitter.com

Try to drop his web address and name in negative reviews of him and include words like cat flap fitter con etc. that way those results will eventually sit above his links on google

I am staggered to read this message and the follow-ups. We have been using Colin on-and-off for 21 months, ever since moving in here, and we have found him to be reliable, trustworthy and completely honest. In those 21 months, he has fitted a cat flap to a double-glazed conservatory door, re-sealed a leaking conservatory roof, replaced a double-glazed unit in a front-room window, and attended to minor problems with multi-point locking systems. Never once have we been let down, and after his first visit I sent him a very positive testimonial to add to his web site. If the reports here are true, then I am staggered; if we have reason to call Colin in again (and we would certainly use him as our glazier of choice), I will draw this thread to his attention and ask him to respond personally -- the reports are so unlike the Colin of our experience that it is almost as if we are discussing two different people.

Maybe you could ask him to contact the OP and give them their money back then.

Just e-mailed him, drawing the thread to his attention, and suggesting that he might want to respond in person.
