    It wasn't a traffic car.
For some great reason, known only to a select few, new unmarked cars in my force only have front blue lights. Nothing on top, and nothing to the rear.
Yes, I had a legitimate reason for going that fast.

while people may not believe the OP, there are people out there who think the roadsign saying 50mph is the minimum that should be travveled allong a road not the maximum.

i drive a strech of 40MP road in the rhondda valley's commonly known as THE MAD MILE by the heritage park, the road has a fixed gatso exiting it into hopkinstown, and is a nutorios spot for mobile camera's going into porth. theres been a good few deaths on that stretch, but still when i travel the 40MPH limit you get the numpties that hang on your backside like your in the wrong beeping and giving hand jestures to SPEED UP, worse at nights, my solution as i have been tought by my instructor is to slow down and then increase the gap, if the person is persistant in tail gaiting then find a spot to wich to pull over, if he runs into you during that process then its his fault.

Im afraid, Wales is a law unto it's own...... Tonnes of nutters on those roads, but still not seen any that give verbal abuse and hand gestures the second they come up behind you.

Don't mess with Welsh drivers. This is what they did to a four-legged pedestrian.

THIS is the gruesome spectacle that greeted scores of motorists as they headed through a moorland beauty spot.

An appalled passer-by took pictures of a dead sheep which had been hung over a road sign at the Horseshoe Pass near Llangollen.
