Tightening Finances this year. Wage increases who got one.

I didn't get a wage rise, or more to the point I didn't give myself or any of my employees one.
Last year was marked by some ridiculous rate cutting by competitors - to the point where they have to be doing work at a loss. Regained some of it back this year as the other crowd were beginning to creep their prices up ( no surprise) and their service levels were dreadful. kept all the staff even though there probably was grounds to lay a couple off and that along with standing assets is what caused problems last year.0 -
Nothing. 0% through my employment. Haven't put any costs up through self employment as none of the employed peeps got anything so don't think I should either.
However, worked out to be a slight increase in wgaes in actual money in the bank due to tax changes.0 -
I have 2 jobs, and have had no increase or decrease this year in either job.
Suprised that you didn't include "freeze" as an option really Really. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Similar to me I expected 3% and got 6.1%.
Interesting thing here is as I had an inkling wages in general were going up more than I expected.
If it carry's on we could expect a rate rise sooner than later to dampen down the effect.
I suspect it'll take more than 2 pay rises for the BoE to act! You never know I guess.0 -

I will let you use the two 0-1.99% options. Either one, I am feeling kind.

It was more a point of if the BOE start seeing wage increases starting to chase inflation. (but from the poll it would seem the vast majority are below inflation, making my point more irelevent

9.6% last October. Although apparently any rise or decrease between 8 and 10% isn't possible according to your poll!
EDIT ah saw your comment0 -
Are we talking wage increases as in "Cost of living" or wage increases through promotion?0

I accidentally put in the wrong vote because I didn't factor in inflation.
So seeing as I'm one of the pay freezees I guess I am having a pay cut.0
