I did work for tesco as a checkout manager for 8 years so i have a grasp of what i feel is right/wrong re sale of goods act. I spoke to the duty manager too so there was no pressure on a member of staff to "fold"!
And my partner is a manager at a high st chain and she isnt sure either!0 -

Maybe they are within the law but that doesn't stop them offering a little flexibility.
What retailers have got to start realising is that there are competitors out there who WILL relax rules and procedures in the interests of customer service.If B&Q want to stick to their rules then fine...maybe it's instances such as this which explain why their sales are down...........0
